Greetings,

I have this issue where I get this rhythmic pulsing of frame rates when I am taxiing or flying. When I stop taxiing, it stops. It happens every second with a quick loss of a couple frames. This is on a new setup and I can't figure it out. This is a video of it. Let me know if you have an idea

Try locking frames and 1/2 monitor refresh rate?

My first suspect would be scenery.   I've had a lot of dud scenery in FS24 that really affects performance. More than in any other version of MSFS.

Does this happen regardless of the scenery you're flying to / from? 

Same question for the aircraft.

Yes. Even with default scenery and aircraft.

So it occurs when taxying or flying, but not when stationary on the ground?

That suggests something computational is at play.  Are you using anything like FS Realistic, that could be activating (sounds in this case) when you're moving?

Have you tried a completely empty Community folder test?

I mean your FPS figures are relatively high but something is causing that blip.  Is the blip noticeable in play, or is just that you can see it when the FPS monitor is on?

 

Thanks to all that has responded. It was there before I even installed any third party items. But, I did the half rate setting as Tony suggested and it was butter smooth on a flight from KPIT to KBUF, Beyond ATC, PMDG 737 and snow + weather.

Welp, it's back. Not bad but I can notice it. No clue why it's happening. I used to get it on my other computer when the cache was being written and replaced. Maybe it's full again. 

Turn off the cache as a test..

I am getting the same issue also i think

Did a flight from eddp to rjaa.

Flying through asia fps were smooth then fluctuations and then smooth amd then it would happen again also while panning. 

I have cleared cache and have not installed new scenery.
