February 2Feb 2 I re-installed AIG's Traffic Controller recently (latest version). When I tried to run the Traffic Controller, I got a message that it wanted to do an update. When I said OK, it said that it couldn't do the update if I had started Traffic Controller from P3D and asked me to shut it down. I ended up in a loop. I finally did so by disabling the Add-On menu item for the traffic controller. When I did the reinstall and update, my anti-virus reached out and grabbed an item named update.bat but otherwise seemed OK. When I sent back to the Add-Ons in P3D, AIG Traffic Controller was there but its menu item had been changed to c:\Windows\System 32. I could select it but not change it and when I went back to it, the selection was turned off. What am I doing wrong? Is it something that the update.bat does? Thanks, Steve
February 2Feb 2 Can you start Traffic Controller and then update it that way, without launching p3d? I would also exclude all P3d main and addon folders so your anti virus leaves them alone. Orman
February 3Feb 3 That is the standard message. Shut down TC. All it wants you to do is close P3D. (You might have to wait a while for it to shut down completely. Then find update.bat in your AIGTC folder. (Just do a search if you don't know where you put it). and run it. When it is done, usually a couple of seconds, run P3D as normal. TC will then load from the .xml and you will not hear from it till the next time. Intel i7 6700K @4.3. 32gb Gskill 3200 RAM. Z170x Gigabyte m/b. 28" LG HD monitor.
