February 4Feb 4 Got this the other day. Love it. The Cri-Cri is one of the gems I got to see again on my recent P3D re-installs. Well pleased to see it again there, and seeing it pop up on the marketplace was a real pleasant surprise. Gotta say too, service and support is brilliant. Had a problem with my purchase (bought the 2020 version and then found the 2024 version showing seperately further down the menu much later) but Deimos got the whole thing sorted out the same day. I really enjoy blipping about in these fun things. Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used
February 4Feb 4 Author Deimos (not Demios) also make the smaller and slower Tanarg 912. I mention because buying both in the marketplace as a bundle is cheaper (The Deimos Funny Flight Bundle is Tanarg + Cri Cri). February 10Feb 10 Author Question: I bought the 2 plane package for 2024 Cri Cri and Tanarg 912. The Tanarg is basically a powered hang glider. Cheap to buy and comes assembled, made in France. My question: the rudder pedals do nothing in the air, fair enough. But on the ground they steer the plane just like a normal plane? So how is the cable linkage able to know that you are on the ground? Or how is this all done? 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. So how is the cable linkage able to know that you are on the ground? Or how is this all done? The cable linkage doesn't need to know anything. I don't in real life own this aircraft, but I would think that If the front wheel is contacting the ground, you'll have front wheel steering. If the front wheel is off the ground, it might still turn, but what can it do? It would just move in the air and not do anything of importance. Leg workout for the pilot maybe. February 11Feb 11 Author Thank you , sir, that is exactly what was happening. The pedals operate the front wheel direction. I can see it move. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
