I think I would velcro that Cat Arch to the floor so it doesn't slide.

 

I like those grooming gloves. Had something similar years ago, worked great.

I had one of those, but I found it a royal pain in the a-s-s to remove the fur from the glove.

Then I discovered the FURminator.  Absolutely perfect!  Removes fur efficiently and easy to remove the fur from the tool, either with your hand or using the ejector button.  Using the ejector button with your thumb on the hand that’s holding the FURminator allows you to hold your cat with the other hand. It’s relatively more expensive than other tools, but worth it for its ease of use and effectiveness.

That looks like a fancy tool.

I came across a brush, a while back, that unlike most brushes my felines would tolerate and seemed to enjoy. Its just a brush but with little balls on the end of the bristles like a human brush so not so uncomfortable for them.

This has a button to eject the fur, too.

Of course, great care is still required unless the wrath of an angry feline is something you enjoy. 😼
