A 111 !!!! Greatzzzz !!!!

Loved that Monarch Airlines livery of the late 70s / early 80s last Century...

My father only travelled once in his life by aircraft, LPPT - EGLL and back, in a Monarch Airlines 111. I took a few shots that I admired for years while dreaming one day being able to fly one 🙂

Had a model for FSX / P3D, don't recall which exactly (?).

Will be a great addition to Xp12.

Definitely like the look of this but I really wish we had access to historic radio beacon data to recreate the network these kind of planes would have used to navigate.

Maybe some long retired pilot has an entire set of global Jeppesen charts from the 80s or so...

Ah the Maltby BAC111 - remember that one well authentically British engineering at its best! Still for the late 1950s a T Tail twin turbine med range liner - thirsty Rollers though!

One thing is for sure as a Shensee - it will be to gold standard. I am glad his passion is older jet airliners. Makes you wonder where he may go next! The 720B is 5 stars - with 3 nav sytems options weather radar and all non commercial - amazing.
