March 23Mar 23 It hasn’t been updated for 2024 yet, so it won’t show up in the 2024 marketplace. it will be updated with AAU4/SU5 whenever that comes out, there’s no ETA yet. Edited March 23Mar 23 by Tuskin38

March 24Mar 24 If you have MSFS2020, it seems to port across to MSFS2024 OK and runs on the streamed basis / download in 24 like the other MSFS2020 models. I hadn't flown it for a while but I just booted it up in MSFS2024 and it seemed to be functioning all OK with a quick take-off, circuit and landing. In fact, I realised how much challenging/fun it is - I may try a full flight in it later today! March 24Mar 24 Yep I confirm, if you bought in it msfs, it will appear in msfs24. It works well generally and it's a fun aircraft to fly even if you cannot compare it in term of quality with the recent payware release. The only drawback is the VNAV, it doesn't work well.

I've simply used IAS for climb and VS for descent in all my turboprops (and the Avro RJ). March 24Mar 24 My understanding is that the earlier ATR's didn't have VNAV but the later ones did. Reading various threads from various places, it seems that the VNAV can work absolutely fine but is very particular to the sequence of actions and the speeds/alts being spot on (which maybe the real ones are too). Anyway, @jhnWik - I've just had a cold-and-dark-to-final-landing flight from EBOS Ostend to EGKK London Gatwick in MSFS2024 using the MSFS2020 version of the ATR 72-600 and it worked very well. Here it is, just landed and taxying off the active runway: My flight was in VR but on the 2D screen it looked just as good. Everything worked as would have expected: . In MSFS2024, it spawns outside the aircraft - and so you can do a walk-around although, clearly, there are no 'MSFS2024' inspection points and animations . Shift+C gets you in the cockpit as normal . The start up is as fascinating as it is straightforward (but you MUST watch a video to see how they start up) . The prop control is interesting . To me, it sounded and felt much like the real ones I've flown in a number of times as a passenger Quite different to a 'standard' small jet airliner, but I think that is the attraction. If the only thing that SU5 adds is the external inspection bits, then I wouldn't wait. March 27Mar 27 After trying this plane for the first time, I wasn't able to shut the engines off. Condition levers all the way down, and even pressing "cold and dark" on the EFB didn't work. Is this a bug? Marco D'Agostino

Here was my post: "Are you sure you have the condition lever actually set to cutoff and not feather? I don't have my HOTAS set up at the moment, but using the mouse, the left engine 1 here has stopped and the right engine 2 is just feathering. The engine stopped as soon as I pulled the lever down to the very bottom: Ryzen 7 9800x3D @5.2GHz; ASUS X670-P Motherboard; nVidia 4080 (factory o/c); 32G 5600MHz DDR5 SDRAM; Pimax Crystal Light VR Headset; Quest 3 VR Headset

Bit more than that, but yeah not really anything to wait for unless you use career mode https://msfsaddons.com/2026/03/21/msfs-sim-update-5-will-bring-aau4-five-aircraft-updates-and-new-avionics/ Quote The MSFS 2024 conversion brings full native support, career integration across passenger, cargo, and VIP modes, a new CFD model, and a new Air Tahiti Highline variant. Additional liveries including Logan Air and IndiGo have been added, along with flight plan importation from the MSFS flight planner and EFB, Lido charts integration, enhanced flight plan display on navigation displays, navigation and autopilot improvements, and TCAS resolution advisories. According to Jörg, the team has been working on this for a long time.
