Black Square Barron sound question

Featured Replies

Maybe just my crappy speakers but when flying at cruise it sounds like I have a window open in the aircraft :) Do I need to have sound settings set different ? Thanks for any help

Have you clicked on the headphone jack?

Do you have any real world GA experience?  I ask because a plane like the Baron is VERY, VERY LOUD in real life.  Black Square implements a headphone simulation, enabled by clicking on the headphone jacks, which simulates wearing a noise attenuating headset as would be done in the real thing.  Try it and see!

Thought I had read everything but guess not. Didn't know they were there. Thank You. Much better 🙂

Yes.

It simulates the headset that you'd be wearing in the real plane, that blocks out a lot of the noise.

When headset connected, you can also adjust the volume by placing the mouse arrow over the headphone jacks and turn it up or down by scrolling the mouse wheel.
