No Arrivals at ATL

Featured Replies

I just noticed something odd, while departing ATL a few minutes ago, I noticed I did not see any of the arrivals. All the departures were taxiing out and I could see them on my TCAS, but I did not see one single plane land. I opened Flight Aware and sure enough there were a few arrivals stacked on both sides yet I didn't see any of them. Could this be a RT issue or on my end? Just never seen this before. Thanks!

When in doubt with oddities like that, I would close psxt and restart it.

Flight aware is not the source for PSXT.

I was at KATL yesterday and it was full of traffic.

I observed something similar at KMSP. The RT application showed a steady stream of arriving airplanes but they weren’t visible in the sim until they cleared the runways. Departing airplanes were fine - you could watch them push back, taxi out and takeoff.

Hi guys,

Maybe your radius was too small (for example, less than 6 nm).

In one of the more recent PSXT updates, I only spawn airborne aircraft if they are flying above 1,000 ft AGL. This is too have time for the landing gear down operation...

No arrivals at KORD either. Planes materialize on the ground only. Which settings should i change?

Traffic inj. radius - 15nm
Alt. threshold 18,000ft

Update. Simple PSXT restart helped. But I was really puzzled.
