I use the paid Traffic global (TG) for traffic, but it doesnt have ATC. TG is awesome as it dedicates local aircraft only to a specific airport, so if im flying in South Africa i will only find local SA aircraft, and not Ryan air and Easy Jet which do not exist in SA. I tried NextATC in conjunction with TG, but the aircraft are not localized and not very realistic in terms of aircraft that should be at a certain airport. Is there a way to disable the traffic from NextATC and link the ATC only to Traffic Global. I know its a long shot.....

Good question, and I use justflight Traffic global too and haven't yet tried this new ATC plugin but will soon and would like to have that alternative too...

But since you already tested NextATC, how did you find the ATC interaction? Was it easy to import a Simbrief fpl? How's aircraft sequencing at busy airports? How does ground do it's job controlling your aircraft and the other while taxiing?

I uninstalled it after 5 minutes. I couldnt get ATC at all after departure, and there was no way to communicate as there is no prompt button to call ATC. The aircraft were a mix of alsorts so really didnt enjoy the initial experience. Simbrief loaded ok. I will wait until i hear if i can just use the ATC communications and disable the aircraft from Next ATC and use Traffic global aircraft only.

I was able to complete a flight with it, however the traffic is weird , I see them when doing per-flight, and even heard a taxi in command to one of them (but no reply), but as I starting to taxi , I see none moving.

Same when enroute, I see in the nav display there are quite some flight approaching my destination but when I arrive it seems all landed and non is still moving, so I didn't hear any other exchange between ATC and traffic.

The UI and control is fine by just using 2 joystick button, I didn't try voice command as I fail to download it's component.

Overall I didn't feel it's any better than XP's own system so far, the main complain I have with Default ATC is it only generate random AI traffic, or no chatter at all with others when using better scheduled traffic (I use World Traffic), which is basically the same in NextATC....

Only issue with T/G, no traffic on the move! I get three maybe four aircraft on the move at KLAX and other large international airports!

I would like an add on for GA traffic at small airports for touch and goes or any GA traffic that's there by default, no assigning routes or adding tower freq , they just spawn at whatever airport your near, no atc , just announce there position be it 5mi out, downwind etc ,
