For me, I only pay for the NAV data (AIRAC Only) so I can update my aircraft and Little Nav Map, €30 a year... I use a combination of Little Nav Map and the free LIDO charts that come with 2024... Never missed a runway...

    There should be a third option: navdata-only subscription (instead of the Unlimited). That's the one I have. For charts, I deal with the MSFS2024 ones.

Hopefully he’ll have time to reflect on that decision and not repeat it.

That's cruel. You send him on an enforced holiday and know he won't be able to find the ILS frequency when he gets there. 😈
