23 hours ago23 hr personally i feel navigraph is worth it. very handy to be able to pull up everything on my ipad. i am not keen on subscriptions, in fact the only subscription i have IS navigraph. not a must have , its a QoL app for sure. if someone is happy with free LIDO charts, then thats good. if we all liked the same thing then there would only be a need for one plane in the sim. I hate subs but im willing to do the annual thing because almost all my flights require charts for sids/stars and approaches and lido does not have the same level of coverage. Added to that keeping the databases current in my addon products. 22 hours ago22 hr Yes Absolutely and highly recommended. These days all addons regardless use Navigraph integration and what you get in ultimate subscription is quite substantial to be honest. I prefer Jeppesen over Lido charts - particularly true when flying IFR in GA aircraft. Navigraph app on iPad is sort of like skydemon or foreflight which is used in real world flying. It allows live tracking, charts at ease, weather overlays and various other bits. The app is constantly updated with new features being added constantly. I have been Navigraph's subscriber for past 7 years and it has never let me down.If you fly for example on networks like Vatsim, PilotEge or IVAO then - Navigraph is a must tool.If you fly primarily offline (not on the networks I mentioned above) and are happy with Lido charts then very least - Navigraph's nav data update is actually recommended which is slightly cheaper then ultimate subscription, Allows you to use latest airac on simbrief. Yea you lose chart access to smaller airports but for someone on a budget this approach is a great compromise ! I might look into again in the cooler months when I can learn & understand it's usage even more. I use Little Nav map and I really like what Working Title have done in creating the Flight planner.It's good to see that more and more of the innovative devs are including the Flight planner in their options.
