August 17Aug 17 I have managed to create a new profile for my joystick and assigned buttons to my preferences. However I can't work out how to assign one button which will act as a toggle between external camera view and cockpit (pilot) camera view.I was able to do this in 2020.There are so many 'actions' to choose from but I can't find ones which will do as I want. I notice that under cameras there are subsections for cockpit and external. Can anyone advise which action to assign as all the ones I have tried don't work. I assumed that I need to assign 'toggle cockpit pilot' and 'toggle external' but it won't workThanks RegardsJohnGigabyte Z390 m/b, i7 9700K cpu, 16Gb Hyper X Fury 3200 ram, RTX2060 6Gb OC, Gigabyte 32" monitor, MSFS 2020 store edition, MSFS2024 store edition
August 17Aug 17 Jarnie, I use these commands, all caps is deliberate.COCKPIT/EXTERNAL VIEW MODE.I have this assigned to the keyboard End key. So one press and you’ll be outside, another press and you’ll be inside. I have all the controls stuff all figured out. If you need more help I can walk you through it. Jack Sawyer

August 17Aug 17 Jack beat me to it (Hi Jack!!) ...For my TM HOTAS Warthog Stick, I also have:TOGGLE DRONE set to the Hat UP switch (Hat DOWN is set to COCKPIT/EXTERNAL VIEW MODE)The pinkie/lever/thingie I have mapped to every view reset function I could find, so I can easily reset my camera in any mode when I get confused (!).

It's easy to delete the wrong one.
August 17Aug 17 Author Thanks Adam?All I need now is to find COCKPIT/EXTERNAL VIEW MODE RegardsJohnGigabyte Z390 m/b, i7 9700K cpu, 16Gb Hyper X Fury 3200 ram, RTX2060 6Gb OC, Gigabyte 32" monitor, MSFS 2020 store edition, MSFS2024 store edition

August 17Aug 17 Author Thanks. Intuition didn't work for me here.BTW how do I backup these profiles as well as camera views I create inside the cockpit for different view of the instruments (using say the numpad) or are they preserved and not overwritten by updates and/or the possibility of having to reinstall?Hooley Dooley 2024 has a function to export/import individual profiles.
