I think that must be the issue. Today, flying into ENBR, BATC instructs to reduce speed to 180kts and voila, it behaves as if in a stall as the autopilot disconnects then the plane becomes super unstable. So next time we will ignore BATC's command!

An A320 can fly 180kts without problems though? In flaps 1 at least.

Always pay attention to the green dot on the speedtape. You have to go to flaps 1 below it.

Also your report on the aircraft pitching up too much after take off seems to indicate you set the take off trim incorrectly.

This is only when airspeed is low as in 180 or so, and it's happened just a couple of times in zillions of flights with the A320 and it's not really after takeoff, it's been the rare time a constraint is imposed in the STAR or by BATC. I'm guessing it was the lack of flaps perhaps, though as I say it's insanely sensitive to elevator inputs when this has happened and it's hard to fathom adding flaps 1 would fix that but I'll try it next time it happens, if it happens. Thanks for the heads up when to re-add flaps in this scenario.
