December 13, 200718 yr You know, those open up package, squeeze, get heat for 6 hours type.Going to NYC for new years eve and am only bringing a carry-on. Can these be carried on? I know for a fact that those 1 $ per heaters at k-mart will be $10 - $25 on Dec 31st downtown NYC. Searched TSA and FAA.org with no results. TIA,Roman FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap
December 15, 200718 yr I would say no being that it's liquid! Especially that it's liquid they can't inspect! Regis Philbin last week took a flight and forgot he had a tube (Larger than permitted) of toothpaste in his bag. Even though they knew who he was and was with Kelly Ripper, they did a thorough inspection and the toothpaste was confiscated. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
December 15, 200718 yr I believe they are a dry chemical not liquid. I don't think I've ever seen liquid ones since most of them need to be activated by air. Chris Miller
December 16, 200718 yr My thinking is that you could ask 2 different TSA guys and get 2 different answers. Your best bet is to simply try to bring them, and if they make you throw them out at the security checkpoint, big deal.- Martin My site: www.martinstrong.com/FS_Project.htm
