Actually, both Nick and I have read and reread the SDK, and even tried to follow the few examples given, but the end results have been, to put it politely, pure crap.As it seems to be quite typical of MS's SDK to be cryptic and incomplete, we were hoping someone may have actually 'groked out' the "real way" to use this mystical feature... :)

I suspected that might be the case, but decided to go ahead and try explaining the obvious in an effort to be helpful.As I said earlier, you couldn't prove the SDK information concerning "Make Gauge" by me, and as you correctly note some of the SDK information is less than a person could hope for.But there's always hope, right? Someone who is able to communicate via the forums may know the answer.I see in another topic the original author of this post is now informing us that he has read the SDK "backwards". Perhaps it makes more sense that way. I'll have to try it and see if my comprehension improves!:)
