August 30, 200421 yr Hello,I've found an AreaFill that is still in the TDFMacros.inc that comes with Ground2k. It is well known that this command causes CTDs (Crash to Desktop) in FS2004. Does anybody know if Ground2k4 V5.33 still uses it?It is so confusing because a betatester of my scenery complained about CTDs in a very complex area made using Ground2k.Best regards,Sasa
August 30, 200421 yr Hello Sasa,Ground2k4 V5.33 doesn't use the AreaFill macros any longer. As far as I know, they are replaced by simple polygons. However, pay attention, that you use the most recent version of the TDF macros from Richard Ludowise - they are from December 2003.Best regards,Edgar
August 30, 200421 yr Download tdfmacros_141337.zip, the date of the TDFMacros.inc is 5/22/04W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
August 30, 200421 yr Hi,Thanks for the information. But I can't find the "tdfmacros_141337.zip" in the file library. Where did you find it?Sasa
August 30, 200421 yr My file says AVSIM but it may be that Dick updated the marco and pasted it on a post but it is 635KB. Maybe Dick will respond. Maybe I got it from FLIGHTSIM.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
August 31, 200421 yr Author Hi Sasa.I had the last version of the macros removed fronm the library for an update to a bad version of BGLC_9... but forgot to upload the corrected files. I'll do so tonight. The Areafills only work properly at the default level! You can replace the default HP files, and they will be fine. The problem is with the map view and GPS. Ground2K4 doesn't use Areas fills as a result of this bug.Dick
September 1, 200421 yr Author Hi Scott. The includes are unchanged from "tdfmacros_141337.zip". That was released to include info about FS9 and clear up a couple of remaining possibilities for extended formats. What has changed in this release is BGLC_9. The previous version contained a bug. This release should be fine. As far as I can determine, BGLC_9 can replace the existing BGLC from FS2002's SDK. It adds the ability to tweak FS9-Gmax-MakeMDL ASM code.Dick
