May 29, 200224 yr Of all the bizarre FS mess-ups this one takes the cake. I taxied to runway 17 at ENBR and just before reaching the runway I started getting dirt effects (like when landing on rough ground). Surprisingly when I stopped on the runway I still had a cloud of dirt hanging around my aircraft. Worse yet, the dirt continued after takeoff. My aircraft was trailing dirt all the way to EGKK. The only solution was to save the situation and restart FS. Any clues? I was using the Norway Airports 7 scenery.Mishahttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3cf46aa249580dfd.jpghttp://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3cf46ad44b1f8071.jpg

May 29, 200224 yr Hey, if we could change the colo(u)r of that effect to blue, somebody could then come up with a panel switch for dumping lavs! BTW, is that BA's new "Pigpen" livery? I'm sorry.MikeKOCF
May 29, 200224 yr hey Misha..i've seen that before. i installed a Demo version of Medal Of Honor, and it completely screwed up my FS. my framerates plummeted, and i got that dirt/smoke trail when i DID try to fly. once i uninstalled M-O-H everything went back to norm.i have no idea why.maybe yours also related to something you've recently installed. try removing the offending software to see if thats it.chris
May 29, 200224 yr If anything, that would have been the Norway Airpots version 7, but I had no problems when I reloaded FS, so go figure.Misha
May 29, 200224 yr Author Yes, I have seen that too. I think it's the particular airport, as some designers have shifted the taxiways but forget to put a bgl under the airport that smoothes out the roughness. Therefore, your plane thinks it is taxiing in dirt, thus the dirt trail effect, as now the plane is damaged. The only way to get out of it is to save a mode, exit FS and come back in fresh.Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
