wish i knew how to do that :-)

Hello Joe,I just bought, after some demo testing, VoxATC just because of the voice recognition, and it is great. I mean great. It really changes the cockpit workload when you have to tune the radios, and requires the pilot to do much of the real life stuff RC does for you (like finding out radio freqs, checking approach plates, etc) but the communication sequence is very similar to Radar Contact, as is it's menu system, so it's a pretty easy transition. I normally fly PMDG737, ActiveSky and RC, but the voice recog is just too cool and I think I'm leaving RC. I'm also a student pilot, and it's close to the real thing like at untowered airports. Also, it does some stuff people are requesting in RC4, for example, it names taxiways. I have not tried it with FSCrew, but I think that will be no problem. Some learning curve, of course, and at the current exchange rate (30GBP) it's $56 big ones in US dollars, but man, does it change the environment. There's a good review of VoxATC in the AVSIM review section. You should at least try the demo. It hooked me.keith2W6

I agree with everything you said. VoxATC is really an amazing and revolutionary product. I never could quite accept (or get used to) handling ATC through on-screen menus. Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2

Hi,wanted to ask, to add something like custom built voice recognition, wether the different selection you can make troughout the whole flight do have the same number all the time or if they change their number depending on what is available or not... .If they were fixed it might be possible to use e.g. Flight Assistant to generate some generic calls you than have to perform e.g. "Cleared for takeoff" and FA would then send the appropriate number, you preselected to RC as e.g. "Cleared for takeoff" does always have No.1 in the selections. But this just works if the numbers are fixed and don't change all the time... .
