March 9, 200521 yr Jeff,RC3 does not affect the LDS 767 autopilot. A program external to LDS 767 is only able to affect the LDS 767 autopilot if, and only if, that program is using the LDS Software Development Kit (SDK) released with the product. There is a definite issue with the LDS autopilot "losing sync" when the sim is paused via an external program, and, I suspect there are some issues with pauses via the "P" key. I experienced a situation where the a/p started a VNAV descent pre-maturely, and I could not re-engage VNAV. I had to disengage the a/p and then re-enable the a/p to obtain proper functioning of VNAV. NOTE: if I just switched vertical modes with the a/p still enabled I could establish v/s descent or a FLCH descent, but I could not enable VNAV. This has happened once in over 20 hrs flying VNAV climbs/descents and it happened immediately after an extended pause (10 minutes or more). >I just flew a flight from ksfo to klax with with a Sadde Six>arrival.I was flying the LDS 767 and did not have any problems>till I was given a crossing restriction of 5000 ft at smo>which is santa monica. The crossing is at symon at 12000ft so>thats off,What do you mean by "thats off"? What is symon/12000ft? How is this even a problem?>and than when I tried a full autoland the throttles>would not reduce. What do you mean by the autothrottle would not reduce? During the descent, in the flare? What were your settings on the MCP?-michael
March 9, 200521 yr Thanks JD - Here's the .apl data generated by FSBuild 2.2. The routing was KSFO PORTE3 WAGES AVE FIM SADDE6 KLAX. I was using LNAV but no VNAV. The problem occurred just past AVE heading to FIM. AdvDisp was showing the next checkpoint as FIM and the heading as 130 - as was the CDU. The controller was telling me I should be flying 310. No missed checkpoints (there aren't many :-) ). I'm going to try and refly this today and see what happens.Doug; ----------------------------------------------------------------------; Generated by Fsbuild 2.X for Radar Contact 2; ----------------------------------------------------------------------ARRIVAL_ID = "KLAX"HOLD_ID = "SMO"DEPARTURE_ID = "KSFO"; ----------------------------------------------------------------------; Begin Nav Generated variables; ----------------------------------------------------------------------GET_FLIGHT_PLAN: Title "!RC KSFO to KLAX (filename: KSFO-KLAX.apl)" Description "SAN_FRANCISCO_INTL to LOS_ANGELES_INTL" Description "Generated by Fsbuild 2.X" flight_planner = 13 filed_altitude = 3200 departure_elevation = 10 arrival_elevation = 125 number_of_checkpoints = 15 departure_latitude = 37.619000 departure_longitude = -122.374800 arrival_latitude = 33.942600 arrival_longitude = -118.408200 checkpoint_1_latitude = 37.489800 checkpoint_1_longitude = -122.474500 checkpoint_1_altitude = 800 checkpoint_1_heading = 136 checkpoint_2_latitude = 37.268200 checkpoint_2_longitude = -122.328700 checkpoint_2_altitude = 1200 checkpoint_2_heading = 116 checkpoint_3_latitude = 35.647000 checkpoint_3_longitude = -119.978400 checkpoint_3_altitude = 3200 checkpoint_3_heading = 130 checkpoint_3_freq = 117.10 checkpoint_4_latitude = 34.356800 checkpoint_4_longitude = -118.881200 checkpoint_4_altitude = 1700 checkpoint_4_heading = 151 checkpoint_4_freq = 112.50 checkpoint_5_latitude = 34.164800 checkpoint_5_longitude = -118.810700 checkpoint_5_altitude = 1500 checkpoint_5_heading = 123 checkpoint_6_latitude = 34.029500 checkpoint_6_longitude = -118.663700 checkpoint_6_altitude = 1000 checkpoint_6_heading = 82 checkpoint_7_latitude = 34.010100 checkpoint_7_longitude = -118.456800 checkpoint_7_altitude = 100 checkpoint_7_heading = 134 checkpoint_7_freq = 110.80 d_runway_1_id = 11 d_runway_1_heading = 028 d_runway_1_latitude = 37.618200 d_runway_1_longitude = -122.376200 d_runway_1_altitude = 125 d_runway_2_id = 13 d_runway_2_heading = 028 d_runway_2_latitude = 37.617000 d_runway_2_longitude = -122.374000 d_runway_2_altitude = 125 d_runway_3_id = 101 d_runway_3_heading = 118 d_runway_3_latitude = 37.620900 d_runway_3_longitude = -122.375100 d_runway_3_altitude = 125 d_runway_4_id = 103 d_runway_4_heading = 118 d_runway_4_latitude = 37.618400 d_runway_4_longitude = -122.374500 d_runway_4_altitude = 125 d_runway_5_id = 191 d_runway_5_heading = 208 d_runway_5_latitude = 37.617000 d_runway_5_longitude = -122.374000 d_runway_5_altitude = 125 d_runway_6_id = 193 d_runway_6_heading = 208 d_runway_6_latitude = 37.618200 d_runway_6_longitude = -122.376200 d_runway_6_altitude = 125 d_runway_7_id = 281 d_runway_7_heading = 298 d_runway_7_latitude = 37.618400 d_runway_7_longitude = -122.374500 d_runway_7_altitude = 125 d_runway_8_id = 283 d_runway_8_heading = 298 d_runway_8_latitude = 37.620900 d_runway_8_longitude = -122.375100 d_runway_8_altitude = 125 a_runway_1_id = 61 a_runway_1_heading = 083 a_runway_1_latitude = 33.950700 a_runway_1_longitude = -118.416500 a_runway_1_altitude = 125 a_runway_2_id = 63 a_runway_2_heading = 083 a_runway_2_latitude = 33.948400 a_runway_2_longitude = -118.418400 a_runway_2_altitude = 125 a_runway_3_id = 71 a_runway_3_heading = 083 a_runway_3_latitude = 33.937900 a_runway_3_longitude = -118.399500 a_runway_3_altitude = 125 a_runway_4_id = 73 a_runway_4_heading = 083 a_runway_4_latitude = 33.935700 a_runway_4_longitude = -118.400900 a_runway_4_altitude = 125 a_runway_5_id = 241 a_runway_5_heading = 263 a_runway_5_latitude = 33.948400 a_runway_5_longitude = -118.418400 a_runway_5_altitude = 125 a_runway_6_id = 243 a_runway_6_heading = 263 a_runway_6_latitude = 33.950700 a_runway_6_longitude = -118.416500 a_runway_6_altitude = 125 a_runway_7_id = 251 a_runway_7_heading = 263 a_runway_7_latitude = 33.935700 a_runway_7_longitude = -118.400900 a_runway_7_altitude = 125 a_runway_8_id = 253 a_runway_8_heading = 263 a_runway_8_latitude = 33.937900 a_runway_8_longitude = -118.399500 a_runway_8_altitude = 125RETURN Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. March 9, 200521 yr Commercial Member please please please don't use .apl format. fsbuild can save/export in fs200x .pln format. it is far superior for rc to deal with a .plntry it again - fsbuild, save/export to .pln, rc input the .pln and flyjd JD Read my blog
