April 4, 200620 yr Hi Jerel,If RemoveATC=Yes is set, is doesn't matter whether the two setting were checked or not.Sandy
April 5, 200620 yr Hi Sandy,I have always the atc window open with your settings, it' doesn't change anything?
April 5, 200620 yr Moderator Be careful when posting FSUIPC.INI. It contains your registration information. Make a copy and post that after removing reg info.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). April 5, 200620 yr Hi GC,Had to leave the "office" for a few hours.Jerel is correct. RemoveATC=1 must be in the [General] section of the FSUIPC.INI file. Please let us know how it works.Sandy
April 6, 200620 yr Hi CG,Which ATC window(s) are you seeing?1. The original FS9 ATC windows -- those that popped up with FS9 ATC (not Radar Contact) messages using previous versions of FSUIPC and FS9 ATC enabled, or2. The new "transparent" window labeled "FSUIPC Display", or3. The usual AdvDiaplay window, or4. Any combination of the above. Please provide details.Sandy
April 6, 200620 yr Hi Sandy,The original FS9 ATC windows, because you told me to enable those options to stop the problem of atc.dll error. But now I have often that window open and I want to stop it without having an "atc.dll" error.
April 6, 200620 yr Hi CG,Something is not right here. Are you sure you are using FSUIPC 3.553 and not 3.53?Please do the following:1. Make sure you have downloaded FSUIPC 3.553 from Peter Dowson's web site. Go to http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?t=41519 and look at the bottom of the page for download information.2. Delete your FSUIPC.INI and FSUIPC.LOG files from your FS9Modules folder.3. Unzip the downloaded FSUIPC3553.zip to the FS9Modules folder.4. Using a text editor, add RemoveATC=Yes to the [General] section of the new FSUIPC.INI file and save the file.5. Start FS9 and Fly Now.6. Start Radar Contact V4 and note which ATC windows you see or don't see. You should see only the new FSUIPC Display window. If this is not the case, please repost your FSUIPC.INI and FSUIPC.LOG files. The first two lines of the .LOG file should look like this:********* FSUIPC, Version 3.553 by Pete Dowson *********Running inside FS2004 (FS9.1 CONTROLS.DLL, FS9.1 WEATHER.DLL)Sandy
April 6, 200620 yr Moderator Sandy,PMFJI.<>The INI should NOT be deleted. If it is you will lose any customising of buttons etc. All that is needed is for the new FSUIPC.DLL to be dropped into MODULES. Choose Yes to confirm the replace. The current INI can be edited as required.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). April 6, 200620 yr Hi Ray,I think it would be better to start with a fresh new FSUIPC.INI. If he wants to preserve his custom controls he can first back up the old .INI file and later edit the new one, after first verifying that the displays are as they should be.Best regards,Sandy
