December 19, 200520 yr I am wondering what RC4 is looking at for the course you are flying.I have been getting busted for not following my course. For exampletoday, I was flying from KFLL to KMDW using ASVE. The average windand heading were 258/89 at FL360. My heading was always within 2 to 3degrees of the heading shown in Advdsp. But yet I was getting bustedfor being off course. I used the shift Z key and found that RC4 wasreading the track instead of my heading, now how do I go about getting around that? I was flying the PMDG737 and using the FMC. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
December 19, 200520 yr I get these same issues. What I've done to get rid of those nagging off course call is increase the heading deviation in the main program GUI. I have mine set at 30 degrees.Sean Sean Green

December 19, 200520 yr Hi JD, Coming to the rescue again. Yes I'm using the 3.51 version ofFSUIPC. I know I never had this problem before with RC3.1. Really had me puzzled. I think I still have tthe old and I'll try that.RC4 is really great. Thanks
December 20, 200520 yr I am having the same problems. My flights use the XP 430 gps which shows the plane centered on the direct to flight path, both on the map view and the default nav view. However the RC4 controller continues to request a 20 to 30 degree heading change to "get back on course" when in fact the plane was perfectly centered on the course.Any suggestions?ThanksLouis Briguglio

December 20, 200520 yr Or if you wish to try of fix for that download interim 3.514 which claims to fix those issues.
December 20, 200520 yr Hi Louis,Or, as Ron suggested, try the fsuipc 3.514 available from http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?...f71c3a09007d871Be aware, however, that this is an interim, beta release aimed at solving this issue. I'm running it without problems. All the best,John
December 21, 200520 yr Weird, cause I have 3.51 and haven't had any problems despite some pretty strong crosswind components....
