Hi Nigel,Firstly the lack of Ai sound. Check you have "Play Pilot Wavs" and "Interact with AI". Both are essential but are on by default.Regarding a button to assign to toggling the FSUIPC/RC window on/off you need to ensure initially that your chosen button is not assigned to a FS command. Go into the FS9 Control / Assignments screen, select a assignment from the list (one that is currently not assigned is best) and choose Change Assignment. Press the button and make sure FS say's "This key or button is available". Cancel out at that point.In the FSUIPC Button + Switches menu press the button you want to use and choose "AdvDisp Toggle". The display will display when RC starts but once you toggle it of it doesn't reappear. Well it doesn't on my system unless I press the button again. Finally, ensure FSUIPC multiline display window is ticked on the About+Register screen and Hide all single line messages is unticked.Hope that helps.

I will have to send tonight. the kids often keep me from getting anything done. As for chatter pilots, im not sure. I do have play pilot wavs and interact with ai selected.

In FS9, in Options menu, Settings, ATC - there is a checkbox for Auto-Open ATC Window. Is that the one you're looking for?Subs
