April 9, 200818 yr Hi, JD. Recently I've had a couple of flights where the controller was giving me a altimeter reading that was way too low... 24.34, 24.66, etc. My altimeter won't go that low (In PMDG or LEVELD) and I keep getting chewed out for busting my altitude. I've tried using the "B" key to reset the altimeter but it will still just go to the lowest setting which is somewhere around 27.00. Any suggestions? I'm using Active Sky X, by the way.

April 10, 200818 yr This is usually caused by a wx station with a malfunctioning barometer or encoder - has nothing to do with rc.DJ
April 10, 200818 yr Moderator Hi Jeff,<>Unfortunately, unless you can time travel, it's necessary to turn logging on before you start your flight and then hope you get the problem. ;-)Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England).
