Actually, Marcus, with the Civil Air Patrol you can no longer do your PPL with them, people started to take advantage of the very low cost. You can still do your other ratings with them, which is what I plan to do. :)

Agreed.Especially with with your PPL, the most important part. Its going to be an excellerated course, fast paced and rigorous. I believe getting your "certificate to learn" should be done with care, but thats my opinion on it. I've been working on my PPL for many months now, I've had to spread it out due to my age...However, your from across the pond (I think) and time is an issue I assume...Jason :-wave

That video has been discussed a great lot a few months ago and 95% of use agree that it is faked. 1) The nose gear could never hold up against all that force being placed upon it.2) The nose gear wouldnt bounce up and down as many times as it would.3) The nose gear, again, would have some more shock to it- it would absorb the touchdown, but the video it just slams and slams over again.4) Notice when the spoilers go up, the video gets blurry for a 1/2 second. Everything after this point is real. Everything before it, is not. 5) The original video had a few more seconds to it, where the "pilot" said something like "Attention coming in for a landing" ... nobody does that 6) ...Theres dozens of more reasons but I have many more things to do :)

I think what I'm seeing is that the nose is a bit longer and a tad skinny... its really no big deal to me... and was just my opinion... I fly a real world C-152 every weekend for flying lessons, and if your looking for realistic handling, atleast in my opinion, it's considerably off. I can climb no faster than 200 fpm or matain 70 kts on climb, while in real life, I acheive anywhere from 500-700FPM on average... cruising... I wish I could push her past 75-80 kts in FS... put I have to be in a descent to do it....I cruise at about 95 kts at 2300RPM in real life... takeoff run's are a bit longer... she wants to get off the ground at 75kts or so in FS... not so in real life.... and low speed handling characteristics are just decent...its the best out there, and its a very nice plane... but the airfile is not what I would call realistic... others wise its a beautiful plane, awesome panel, virtual cockpit, and a so-so external model... everything from the leading edge of the wing foward is kind of off... :)My $0.02 :)Jason :-wave
