So why not program a random generator into the FMS? /roll 3 gives a 0, 1 or 2 which would be the offset used.
  2. Ulf, this is a snip from this review."Now that you're all set up, it's time to connect the cables. As I said, the receiver is attached to the main USB cable and the transmitter is hooked up by a 9mm jack. Halfway along the USB cable is a splitter for the transmitter to plug in to. Once done, simply connect the cable into the USB slot, using the extender if necessary."From this review it works just as well as the TrackIR for MSFS only at half the price of a TrackIR. Adequate or not, well that depends on ones needs ;)
  3. There is competition: http://www.simw.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=d...ls&pid=2084Sorry for the hijack.
  4. Yepp, thanks for the link! Nice video, though a bit heavy on bloom and editing for my personal taste, which doesn
  5. Hey all happy Duke-owners. This is the first time I make this type of request, don
  6. Another free/payware service which I belive can export the created flightplan is VrouteI don
  7. Yeah, forget about local time and just use GMT/UTC/Zulu/whatyamightcallit only. Your local time probably varies due to daylight savings and such which also helps in confusing matters. You most likely have a setting wrong somewhere in the software that provides the flightplan or your sim. ;)Perhaps helpful, A bunch of times
  8. True, but you edited out the "bad" part mate, "I think the most common user/pilot error is to take off and engage the AP before the aircraft is in a stable "mode", i.e. it is accelerating and/or changing its rate of climb. The pilot then selects FLC and rapidly turns the knob to whatever airspeed he wants to climb out with". The effects of this are exactly what you described earlier in your post so we
  9. Not trying to be a smartalec here, but you keep refering "the work around". What precisely in our explanations on how to properly manage the airplane is it you consider to be a work around? I
  10. Just to add to our statements regarding climb speeds. Look at this short video of a flight test...ish of a Mustang. Pay attention to what speeds the pilot is talking about, it
  11. Close, but allow me to suggest a few changes to your style :)Ok, we
  12. Spaceman, what IAS are you climbing at? The most common factor that causes porpoising in climbs is that folks are climbing at too high a speed. Normal climb speeds should be in the 170-140 KIAS range, slower IAS the higher you get. If you stay at say 250 kts the engines will eventually be unable to keep that AND climb at the same time. The nose is lowered to get back to 250 kts, then raised to climb. The speed bleeds off again, rinse and repeat => porpoising.
  13. It appears that another competitor to TrackIR has emerged: http://www.simw.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=d...ls&pid=2084Half the price. I
  14. Hi guys, I just got a mail from SimWare that mentions a competitor to TrackIR. Hat Track looks very similar but is half the price,
  15. Hejsan, looks very nice. Upload?
  16. Fails to play for me... Though both vids showed up in my post, strangeness....
