Hi Clayton!Normally a derated take-off or climb power setting should not have any effect on the climb performance above FL150 as the power setting switches from the derated to the maximum climb power at that altitude. As described, I have also been experiencing this problem with the B737-600 and B737-700 being a lot lighter than on this specific flight. Also then I had difficulties to reach a maximum of FL350 at an average of 500 fpm above FL250, not to speak about FL410 which I have never been able to reach so far. From real world data I know that the B737NG actually quite often cruise at their maximum altitude of FL410 also at higher weights. Any advice from PMDG would be valued! Hi all!After take-off with a heavy B737-700 - the GW being at about 160,000 lbs. - the aircraft only managed to climb to an altitude of 30,000 feet with an average 500 fpm from 25,000 feet upwards whereas it should be able to climb to at least 37,000 to 38,000 feet according to the B737-700 performance manual.
