  1. Hopefully you get a window to fly out soon. πŸ‘
  2. Just tested and this was it. Thanks for the help all.πŸ‘πŸΊ
  3. Interesting, I missed this post thanks for sharing.πŸ‘ The Blacksquare version doesn't have this issue but I'm reading this write-up with great interest. The Blacksquare model might need the update versus the Asobo bird (go figure that one). Maybe it has the KFC-400 (Kentucky Fried Chicken) autopilot listed in the article.🍺
  4. So you have the WT G1000 mod installed I mentioned above and are not seeing the issue?
  5. Set winds to zero and made sure tanks were balanced. Still have the issue. I'm glade I have the BlackSquare version but wanted the Glass option if it worked out. WT/Asobo should have addressed the Kingair in AAU2.πŸ˜•
  6. "also using the McGouge MOD???"πŸ₯΄ I found flying it with autopilot 'on' at 12,000ft using the G1000 mod alone, the problem presents itself.
  7. So it flies normal without the mod?πŸ₯΄ I'll check this out when I get home. That's interesting an Avionics mod can affect a flight model (if that's the case). In all actuality Asobo should have addressed the KingAir with their last AAU2 update. A message to the mod creator might be in order.
  8. I installed this MOD which I posted about before here on these forums: King Air 350 G1000 Cockpit Mod for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS Now I'm finding at cruise the King Air flying with the left wing lower as if it's turning or fighting a crosswind. It's always the same no matter the weather conditions. Do to the terrible state of the default avionics i this bird I haven't tried it without the above mod. Just thought about this while I'm away from my home PC on business so I thought I'd ask here has anyone seen this behavior and is there something that can be done about it? Thanks in advance.🍺
  9. Is there anyone having a problem loading the sim?😐 For some reason on my end the sim will not load up after the progress bar reaches the end. This just started 0200UTC 11/12/23.😟
  10. Yes it can. It has nothing to do with Blacksquare's offering.🍺
  11. Blacksquare did an amazing job on this aircraft but the default glass cockpit needed some love. The most incomplete of Asobo's offerings has now been addressed: King Air 350 G1000 Cockpit Mod for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS Can't believe I missed this for other a month.
  12. Sorry I missed the last sentence of your post above, "creating a custom instrument was delayed as the other features making the 500 so nice to fly and immersive were rated much more relevant. Though it is on the list for a later enhancement." I was working and got distracted from another task and didn't finish reading what you wrote. You answered my question. Sorry for being confusing here.πŸ‘
  13. Here's the problem. I can't find a real world cockpit of this bird without these gauges (plus it looks like some extra buttons missing on the passenger's side right of the G1000). If you can find me some real world cockpits without these gauges it would be much appreciated, I'd love to see them.🧐 The cockpit is looking as if it's missing something (especially with the grey glare shield) now that I've search the internet to no avail for a comparable cockpit. πŸ™ƒThis being said I'm not trying to be adversely critical of this great effort just asking questions hoping if something's missing it will be added in a future update. Nothing perfect upon first release.🍺
  14. Quick question. What year is your Piper M500? Every screenshot I'm seeing of the cockpit has a small digital artificial horizon/compass on the left side of the G1000 on the pilot's side. Just wondering.🍺
  15. That's not what I'm seeing on my end. When I get home I'll investigate further.
  16. On my end there's four dome light switches for this plane. When their all on the cabin looks different than it should with beamed lighting from a small roof light source. The whole roof of the plane is lite up like the whole top of the aircraft is producing light versus the individual bulb lights. It must be something with my setup.πŸ₯΄
  17. Funny, I shouldn't have used that term...πŸ€ͺπŸ™ƒ How's the dome lights looking on your end (the trim lighting looks great)? Are they dimmable? Looks like a darkened night without the moon made it look weird on my end. Again I'm not at home to look myself.
  18. That's it thanks.🍺 How's the cabin lighting looking on your end? Maybe their dimmable and this is another issue where I missed the switch.
  19. No, I know I found that dome light switch. What I'm talking about is the switch that controls the light that luminates down from the glare shield like in this shot: https://www.alamy.com/view-into-the-cockpit-of-a-sports-plane-modern-glass-cockpit-of-a-turboprop-aircraft-view-of-the-dashboard-image398316684.html?imageid=9769AC72-852E-4393-B208-E54E814CA112&p=241580&pn=2&searchId=e6114f738bf3b4f34404494586213997&searchtype=0 It might not be implemented.😏
  20. I posted a couple of dusk cockpit links to my previous post. You responded before I updated that post. There's an overhead light that comes down from the glare shield to the cockpit displays that I can't seem to find a switch for. Concerning the cabin I wasn't inferring you were using FS9 methods more so just how it looks. Sorry if it came across that way. That being said your shots look better in the cabin than mine so it must be something on my end. If others aren't reporting the same feedback then I'll see what's happening on my end.πŸ˜• I'm not at home so I can't post screenshots.
  21. Thanks for the explanation, this explains the cockpit. I was looking from something like the cockpit lighting looks on this website: https://europeanaircraftsales.com/piper-dealer/piper-m500/ https://www.alamy.com/view-into-the-cockpit-of-a-sports-plane-modern-glass-cockpit-of-a-turboprop-aircraft-view-of-the-dashboard-image398316684.html?imageid=9769AC72-852E-4393-B208-E54E814CA112&p=241580&pn=2&searchId=e6114f738bf3b4f34404494586213997&searchtype=0 What I most find off is the cabin lighting. On my system it looks to be the old FS9 method of a weird dome light that lights up the cabin in a way that's you wouldn't see in the real world unless you have some spotlight flashlight hanging from the ceiling of the aircraft.πŸ₯΄ Again maybe it's just something on my system. Can you post a screenshot of the cabin lighting as your seeing it? Thx.
  22. Thanks, I'll try that when I get home. How does the cabin lighting look on your end? I'm making my comparison to add-ons like the 414. Again maybe I'm not clicking on the right switch. I'm getting this weird FS9ish dome light effect in the cabin area.
  23. After some testing there's only two things I see as an issue: 1. I can't get my head around is why I'm getting a config warning when throttling up for takeoff. I have everything set as the checklist requires. 2. Not sure if it's just me but the night lighting in the cockpit looks like work still needs to be done. Most notably is the cabin lighting. The Cabin at night is looking more FS9ish versus an MSFS release. Adding to that the gauge dimmers don't seem to work and I can't get the Garmin screens to lower in luminance when adjusting the dim switches. I mentioned this above but thought I'd give a little more detail as to what I'm seeing. Maybe I'm not doing something right. For an add-on that otherwise is very good we've always had some developers that can do night lighting real good and others that struggle in this area. Proper night lighting is very important for an aircraft like this. If I'm doing something wrong please let me know.πŸ˜• Overall if there's only two things (that might be user error) this is one great release. This is an aircraft I wanted in the sim done right since the old Flight1 version for FS9 came out (that one left allot to be desired). I always thought if done right this would be amazing in the sim. Glad to see you guys brought this to us.🍺
