  2. I agree, very well done!
  3. That is an awesome offer. I would take you up on it if I could go, especially since I live in Pilot Point and currently training at KTKI!
  4. Braniff Virtual simulates the operations of Braniff from the 1950's through the demise of the airline in 1982. If you have an interest in classic aircraft, classic navigation techniques, or the real world Braniff, we would be delighted for the opportunity to get to know you. We enjoy a friendly atmosphere, automated ACARS support, and we are a member of vaCentral. We offer scheduled online VATSIM events as well as offline/online tour events that give you the opportunity to earn extra hours for your logbook. The aircraft that we support are DC-4, Dc-6, DC-8, Dc-9, B727, B707, B737-200, B747, Concorde, BAC 111 and the A320. 5. Yes, I have read about holding the ALT key to hide the menu but I don't know why that won't work for me, my friend has x64 Vista and it does work for him. I will give that a try Serge, I haven't heard of that one, thanks.
  6. I have x64 Vista and the ALT key will turn on the menu bar but not turn it off. Also I have noticed that if I turn on the menu by the ALT key then it takes twice to turn it off by right clicking on the screen and choosing Hide Menu Bar. The first time I click it nothing happens and then the second time I click to hide it, it works. But if I use the right click screen menu to turn on the menu, then it will turn off by the right click menu the first time. Weird.

  8. Yes Noel. I installed it today and since it is a gauge it has to be installed in each panel that you want to use it in. It is not too hard, I got it put in the POSKY 737-700 in FSX and Vista. Even managed to get it to work in the VC. If I can get it done.....anyone can.... :(
  9. I have read that the FS2004 version of FlightDeck Sound Effects Panel works in FSX. I downloaded it yesterday and was going to try it today. Search the file library for fdsfxpnl.zip
  10. Since going to the Nvidia 190. driver my night textures are terrible. I have looked for the problem for several weeks but no luck. The day textures are good but the night textures are cartoonish.
  11. I also have FSX, it works fine.
  12. It runs fine on my Vista x64 system. I can see all the textures and edit without any glitches so far.
  13. I have FSRepaint V2. As a novice painter I think is is great. It gives you the ability to view your work without running the sim. It has its own paint program but also has the ability to link to an outside paint program. I use FSRepaint and paint.net (free) as the paint program because it supports many of the high end paint program file formats and layers.
  14. Brian, here is a link to a website that explains the methodology.Flight Numbers

It is great fun, with a chance to meet pilots from the other hubs, as well as pilots from different Virtual Airlines. We set up training/refresher flights from time to time.
