  1. David,Relax my friend. So many before you have tried to complain about this and I'm sure there is going to be many after you as well. Just learn this phrase "It is ready when it's ready" You will end up typing yourself to death and no one is going to listen to you anymore. The release of the NGX is closer that ever before so let's bite the bullet a while longer because the reward is going to be unbelievable.Enjoy the weekend!
  2. Captain! My Captain! You guys are awesome! Including Dr Vaos :( Keep on going!Johan Viljoen
  3. Hi JonNice signature! Thanks for allowing us to use it.
  4. Guys I don't know about you but I see a simulation war coming here! All the other developers are going to be very jelous when the NGX hits the market because this one is going to take a lot of money from them. Stunning work PMDG! This kind of dedication to a hobby is just unheard of. This will silence all those childish critics for some time. Well Done!!!
  5. Hi Henning

Great!

    Beste Groete

    Johan

  8. Hi RyanI have just spoken to customs in South Africa and they say that my manuals will be up for delivery today. I'm quite exited to finally get them after a month of waiting. Thanks to you and Robert for the support received.Happy Flying!
  9. This is Kulula taking the mickey out of an old South African politician called Roelof Fredirik "Pik" Botha. In the attached phote you can see him on the right with previous president PW Botha and Mr & Ms Samora Machel of Mozambique. He has been the subject of many commedians in South Africa. He is still alive and most probable fly with Kulula sometimes :( Look him up on Wikipedia.Enjoy!
  10. Finger trouble got the best of me there! Pressed the reply button to fast :( It's been a lot of fun to see this aircraft flying around in South Africa. Kulula.com has always been very original with their paints. Brings out the lighter side of life!
  11. :LMAO:Proud to be South African!! I thought this paint was hilarious!
  12. Hi RyanI'm also very disappointed with the delivery of the manuals to South Africa. I have ordered my manuals on the 6th December 2010 and it is now the 26th December with no manuals yet. I have phoned customs in South Africa on numerous occasions and they still inform me that they have not received anything from USPS at all. My Tracking number is: EC963324719US. Let's see if you can help.Kind Regards
  13. Hey GuysI'm very exited! I just ordered the Chief Pilot's set of NGX manuals and being the owner of a set of MD11 manuals as well, I can tell you that you won't be disappointed. The quality is unbeleivable!I see a lot of guys complaining about the price of the NGX manuals, and yes it is a lot of money but remember that you will be one of only a few people in the world that will own an authentic set of NGX manuals and soon after you will also own the best NGX simulation ever! I think this is going to be a piece of aviation simulation history which is going to break a few records and I definately want to be part of it!I mean if it is price you complain about, try living in South Africa like I do, where the Rand/Dollar exchange rate is R6.92/$1.00! Add the shipping charges to the NGX package and you end up with a quick $424.39! That is ouch! Knowing PMDG and the quality of their products I can promise you it will be worth every cent!Work harder, maybe put in some overtime if you can and before you know it there is enough money to make it happen.Enjoy it! :(
  14. Hi Robert,

Thought I will just pop in and ask how you are? I was doing a Google search on your name and found that you are a very busy man! I wish you all the success with your political career and your other business ventures. God Bless you and keep up the good work!

    Kind Regards,

Johan Viljoen, Cape Town, South Africa

  15. Hi GuysFOR CRYING OUT LOUD, WILL YOU ALL PLEASE STOP BICKERING ABOUT THE RELEASE DATE!!I can very well understand Robert and his team's frustration in having to constantly reply to all these stupid and unnecesary posts. This is going to be the biggest and most sophisticated 737NG release yet, and I can just imagine how many thousands of lines of coding have gone into creating this unbelievable product. If you want quality with the least amount of possible release bugs, then please be patient, and I promise you PMDG will not let you down. From all the published screenshots you can very well see that this is going to be a product way above the expectation of anyone. So, relax, sit back, fly the PMDG JS4100 with its stunning virtual cockpit and for the fun of it, add FS2Crew voice control and I promise you, before you know it, the release of the 737NGX will be in your face and then you can all pull those dusty credit cards from your wallets and buy a product that will be top of the range for a long time.Enjoy Life!
  16. Hi RobertFar too much exitement!! I think this one might put all the other PMDG aircraft in the cupboard for a while :( I think lots of us are really exited about this product and I know it will be worth the wait. Hopefully not too long from now we will all be flying the NGX into the early morning hours. GREAT WORK & DEDICATION.Johan Viljoen
  17. Hi RyanThanks for this post. I did exactly as per your instruction and the results are great! My NVidia 280GTX extreme card was a great buy. I didn't notice any frame hits after the settings in FSX or FS9 , so for me it worked out well.Well Done!
  18. Hi FunknNastyI have been running the MD11 FSX and 747 FSX under Vista Ultimate SP2 and SP3 with great success and no issues. I then installed Windows 7 RC 64 bit on a formatted drive. I now have a dual boot system with Vista Ultimate or Windows 7.I have installed FSX Accelleration under Windows 7 with no issues and I am actually very impressed with the performance. So my next step was to install the MD11 for FSX with all the necessary permissions and compatibility option set to Windows XP SP2. The MD11 installed with no problems and authentication was good. On opening FSX and selecting the MD11 I got 3 dll modules that I had to give permission for and the MD11 then loaded. I immediately noticed no addon box on the menu bar and therefore no PMDG option. The model with all textures loaded well but I am unable to select any switches or popups etc..etc..I then tried to open the MD11 Load Manager but with no success. It then showed me the following mesage: "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect" I immediately suspected the administrator permissions as well as folder permissions, uninstalled the MD11, re-installed it with all permissions but no success. I then uninstalled Microsoft C++ 2008 X64, downloaded a fresh copy from the Microsoft site and installed that with no problems but the problem with the MD11 persisted. Maybe I am overlooking something here and would like some assistance if you don't mind. You can contact me on my e-mail jviljoen@btcape.co.za or reply to this post here because I think I might not be the only one with this problem.Thanx in advance :( Johan Viljoen
  19. Hi MarcWell Done! we wish you even more success for the Future!!

  23. That's the way! A Ha, A Ha I Like it!!Johan
  24. Hi RobertThere has been a few posts concerning this issue and if I remember correctly Ryan replied once that they are working on the problem. I have also posted a screenshot of the error message in this forum but have had very little response on it. There were definately more guys with the same issue and hopefully they will lock on to this thread. Now, I have experienced this APPCRASH on Exit with the FSX Freight Version as well. I do not experience the problem as Jeff describes with the loud noise etc. but definately the APPCRASH. I have also done a few of tests with the PAX version but did once get the APPCRASH, only when exiting from the F Version. I do experience some flickering when starting up the PMDG 744X/F running 2 monitors with Vista but I overcome that by pressing ALT ENTER twice to get me back to full screen mode. I guess this is still a Vista Driver issue.I am running Vista Ultimate with all the latest updates, I have FS9 & FSX installed. Other than FSUIPC, I have no other addons installed on my machine.Specs as follows:Vista Ultimate2 x Samsung 226BW 22" LCD MonitorsIntel Bad Axe Extreme MotherboardIntel E6600 Core2 Duo ProcessorNVIDIA 8800GTX Graphics Card4x 1Gb Corsair Matched Pair Gaming RAMSoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS sound cardThermaltake 800w Power SupplyCH Products Yoke & PedalsTrackIR Pro Microsoft Intellitype Pro Wireless Keyboard & MouseI have made sure that I have all the latest drivers and service packs installed and the Bios has been upgraded with the latest drivers. I checked all file folders for the correct permissions and I am the only one using the machine as administrator.CheersJohan ViljoenCape TownSouth Africa
