  1. That depends on what you mean by confirmed ;-)Mike (Tdragger) said this in his blog, so I guess it would be some truth to that :-) RaymondNorway
  2. No Changes? I don't know if it will have any effect on the Taxing, but there as some changes to the groundhandling:"Yep, we had to increase the fidelity of our ground handling on slippery surfaces. You can be the judge if we got it right. " -Tdragger
  3. 1. I'm sure that PMDG will take full advantage of FSX and all the new features and advantages it brings, to make an almost perfect product even better ;) 2. PMDG is already working on a new soundset for the 747, if I remember correctly.RaymondNorway
  4. http://www.fs2004.com/downloads/index.php?dlid=1304This was a really cool video. It was kind of a nostalgic "Farewell FS9, Welcome FSX" video. Brilliantly made. Check out how well the music (and lyrics) fits the video. And of course the graphics of our soon "phased out" fs9 :( I hope it has not already been posted. Thought this would be a nice post to post now, as Aces is doing is final touches on the new FSX :DRaymondNorway
  5. tdragger said in an earlier post:"Finally, you might also notice that FS has been around for 25 years and we plan on being around for at least 25 more. Naturally the product will continue to evolve over time based on feedback from lots of customers, including people on this forum."So I don't think you have to worry about that ;-)RaymondNorway

  7. As far as I know, the AIRAC for PMDG is only available at Navdata. The guy behind the site has apparently been very busy lately. However, if you will have a look at their website now, you will see that cycle 0605 will come online. My guess would be that it will be released sometime in the middle of this month (May).
  8. Hi,I have a problem with my PMDG 737-700 aircraft when using FS Passengers. After buying the current aircraft and loading it, I get a message saying "Missing Standard Decleration in Aircraft.cfg". Now by pressing the "YES, correct this aircraft and fly with it" button, everything turns black and I get a CTD.I have tried the same with PMDG737-600/800/900 and the 747 family as well, and they all work great. It only seems to happening with the 737-700. Anyone have this problem, or know how to solve it?
  9. Thank you very much. That solved the issue. It wasn't hard to fix but it was a bit hard to spot :-)
  10. Thanks for the replies :-)Marc, I'm not sure if you understood me correctly. I have installed both CV-VCV and CV-OCV. I select the aircraft model PMDG 747-400 RR RB211 engines in the "Select Aircraft" section of the FS menu. The problem is when I am looking in the "Variations" list of the FS menu, I can only find/select the CV-VCV. The CV-OCV is just not in the list. I have had a look in the Aircraft-file and the texture map of the 747-400F but I can not find anything wrong with them. Am I doing something wrong? Anyone else experiencing this with this livery?Regards,RaymondNorway
  11. I don't know exactly when PMDG will release the new soundsets for downloading. What they have said, however, is that they will do it as soon as their new download section is up and running. i just thought I should mention it :-) Regards,RaymondNorway
  12. Hi,Another fantastic job done by you guys with the 400F. The PMDG747 series are my favorite aircraft addon. Two issues:1. I seem to have a problem with the Cargolux (RR Old) Livery in the download section. I have installed this livery, but I still only get the Cargolux (RR New) in the RR section of the FS aircraft menu. The cargolux (RR Old) livery does not appear in that menu. Anyone who has the same problem or might know what's wrong?2. On the left side of the panel in the VC, there are a "watch". I have understood that this "watch" is used for counting the amount of time the aircraft is airborne. How do you operate this "watch"? I don't seem to be able to have it work properly.RegardsRaymondNorway
  13. Thank you for the information. This one looks good. I might give this one a try.Regards,RaymondNorway
  14. Hi Dirk,From what I have understood, PMDG will offer the new 744F soundsets for free, as soon as their new download section is up and running :-) Regards,RaymondNorway
  15. Wilson,I have watched the same DVD as you have. The "Virgin" branded paper with all the boxes and numbers on it that the FO is presenting to us during the flight, was the 747-400 Takeoff performer. This performer is not filled out on the airplane. It is done prior to departure, with the help of the ATIS information and several tables. Most of these tables can actually be found in the takeoff-section of the PMDG's manual for the 747-400. I have tried to find a copy of a performer myself, but I have not succeded. It was a good and orderly way of collecting and checking the takeoff data. The scratch pad he uses during the flight is a blank one I assume. I like that video and I have seen it at least 30 times :DIf you get hold of a copy of a performer for the 747-400, please let me know.:-) Regards,RaymondNorway
  16. Have you checked PMDG's website? http://www.precisionmanuals.com You can't miss it. :( Yes, the 747-400F has been released. It was released on saturday/sunday (depends on where you are). It costs $29.95 and you must have the original 747-400 already installed. The 744F updates the pax version as well, but there are no free update for just the 747-400 Pax version, except for the new soundfiles. And yes, Emirates Sky Cargo is available with the new 747-400F. They are free.Regards,Raymond
  17. Here's the first lesson in the PMDG Type Course for the 747-400:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=95618&page=You can access the Type Course from PMDG's site, on their support page.Cheers,Raymond
