  1. Hi Bryan,I have a couple of questions in regards to the Voice Commander version of PMDG 747:1. When it comes to procedures and compatibility, does this works equally well for the cargo version as for the passenger version? Just asking since I tend to use the cargo version the most.2. Does this version still rely on simulated mouseclicks, as the original version did?
  2. Well, they do have a Bombardier Dash-8 in the works. That is the most B1900 like aircraft that has been announced from PMDG :(
  3. Don't worry. This is just some wild guess from Aerosoft and refers to the boxed version, wich always comes out a few weeks/months after release. Also, remember, we have not been given any release date at all on the NGX, so nothing is really delayed anyway :(
  4. The Dash 8 is scheduled to release before the 777, isn't it? At least according to the "original" schedule :(
  5. And that should call for some screenshot celebration or something. Right Vin? :( :(
  6. C'mon guys, who needs a demo of a PMDG product anyway, I mean, seriously. We all know what we get from PMDG by now anyway: quality :( The question becomes if you actually WANT the aircraft or not, or if you just want to support them to ensure future products :(
  7. This is a quote from Robert, in this thread, for about a month ago: So there will not be a BBJ variant released with the NGX. However, "initial Release" might indicate that we will get a BBJ as an expansion pack at some point after the release.Fantastic 3D renders, Vin. You certainly know your way around 3DS Max.
  8. Don't tell me that you don't know who has to take the blame for that, Vin! :( This must become the most bestselling FS addon product of all times...Great screenshot, by the way. Great to see it getting bigger. Are we closing in on BETA-testing maybe? (Yeah, like you would answer that :( )
  9. Vin,Could you please tell us what date two weeks after release is? Just so I know what date to schedule? :( :(
  10. It must be in Alpha development/testing still. I'm sure Robert would have told us if it went into BETA. He usually do :( We would also see bigger images and in-sim screenshots by now.I'm sure the whole PMDG team is sitting and laughing at us each time a new teaser is posted by Vin :(
  11. Fantastic! Thanks Vin! Looking real good. Are we still looking at 3d rendered images or is this inside FSX?
  12. Dash 8 Q200 and Q300 is the only versions that officially is in development today. It is not known if PMDG will expand this to Q100 and Q400.
  13. 5. As far as I have understood, the 737NGX/777 projects and the Dash 8 project is being done by two separate development teams. The Dash 8 is made by the same team that developed JS41. I'm sure that the Dash 8 project is well under way already as well :(
  14. Yes, I have. It just doesn't behave like the instructions says, and I have no idea why :(
  15. Hi,I'm really struggling with this FPS Limiter. When I double-click the "FPS_Limiter_GUI.jar" file, it only start some other unrelated programs on my computer. I do not get the "Search Executable" and can't search on any .exe file the way the instruction says. I have the latest Java version installed om my W7 64 Bit system. Anyone knows what might be wrong?
  16. Yes, the -8i/F expansion pack is just the external model. VC is the same. However, new techniques in the development created a more effective exterior model, something that, oddly enough, also had an effect in the VC. I think even Ryan confirmed this upon release. But how much performance increases seem to be a bit different on different systems.I think even PMDG mentioned that the 747 expansion was a testbed for the 737 model, if I remember correctly.
  17. I agree with this. However, I would also like to add that the newly developed -8i/F expansion pack for the 747-400X gave me significant higher framerate, also in the virtual cockpit. This also is a good sign for PMDG's future project as far as performance is concerned. I'm confident that PMDG will find a great balance between complexity and performance :(
  18. Sometimes between mid 2010 and the end of 2010. It should be a good sign that they have started showing us screenshots though :( I'm not really that excited about the screenshots. It's just what I expected from PMDG these days: AWESOME! :(
  19. Most of my wishes have already been mentioned here. I'll only add Norwegian Air Shuttle and SAS.Wow, looks like Pete is going to be very busy with the paint kit to this aircraft :(
  20. The PMDG Knowledge Base mentions that it is the same team that is developing the 737 which also will develop the 777. It's therefore very likely that a delay in the 737 release, also will delay the 777.However, with that said, who has said that the 737 is delayed? Mid 2010 is a pretty broad target which can strech from (in my opinion) May to August, or maybe even more. Robert has said that previews is not far away, so I will assume that the development team has come pretty far, and that the develpment is moving forward. Patience, I'm sure it will be worth the wait :(
  21. As I'm mostly flying the freighter version of the 747, 4-5 hours flight as an average sounds right. However, a couple of days ago I had an 8 hour flight. Because of the APU I had running before departure, I had around 600 kg imbalance in tank 2 during the entire flight. I did not get any x-feed config message at all. I wonder where this limit goes to get this message? :(
  22. That is weird. I have guite a few hours in the PMDG 747-400 now and I can't really say I have seen that X feed config- message in EICAS yet. That is despite the fact that I sometimes can have the APU running for an hour to an hour and a half before departure.
  23. Hi,Do you remember to close the two Fuel X Feed valves after you have shut down the Override Pumps? It's the only thing I can think of at the moment that can produce that message. If you are asking if the thrust levers move when more/less thrust is applied, then yes. It would move just as much as it would if you controlled them yourself.
