  1. Carl,If you check Navdata.at's forum, you'll see that TP is not included for now. Richard is not quiet finished yet. TP will come as a revision for PMDG and LevelD in a day or two. Finally TP to my two favorite addons :-) Raymond
  2. >Beautiful Pete- does UPS operate the 400F or is this>fictional? Keep at it- love your work.>>Hopefully we will get to fly them soon!>>>Carl F. Avari-Cooper BAW0225This is not fictional. From what I know, UPS got its first 747-400F delivered last month. During 2007 and 2008 there will be delivered 7 more.Another great paint, Pete :-)
  3. Darren,I have read earlier on this forum that there has been spent significant time to take full advantage of the new wingflex feature in FSX.EDIT: And Ryan posted just before me, so there you go :-) Raymond
  4. >I like the larger corporate jets like the BBJ or the ACJ. If>I'm not mistaken, PMDG is technically already working on both>for FSX? (BBJ=NGX ACJ=A320,A319)>>Ryan Gamurot>Lucky to live Hawai'iI don't know much about PMDG's Airbus, as very little information has been released about that one, to my knowledge. However, I seem to remember Robert saying that BBJ 1 (Boeing Business Jet 1) and BBJ 2 (Boeing business Jet 2) is included in the 737NGX package.Of course, this might have been changed by now. Only time will tell, I guess.Other than that, I personally would love to see a developer make the Gulfstream G550. That is an impressive Bizjet, and judging by the number of reguests I have seen, it's strange that no developer has taken on the challenge. If it happens, though, I hope it is someone that can make them in PMDG quality.I would like to see PMDG continue making airliners, as the experience they have by now is invaluable and their products are close to perfection. However, should PMDG develope a GA aircraft, it would be interesting to see the result:-)RaymondNorway
  5. The screenshots look great. I can't wait to get this in to my FSX. What about a wingflex video?:-) Is there 5.1 Surround sound on this aircraft?"final build to kick out to beta testing"You have enough betatesters, Robert?;-) :( Raymond
  6. Robert,Thank you for your update. Glad to hear that things are picking up at PMDG. Can't wait to try out the 747-400X (not to mention the 737NGX down the line:-) )Raymond
  7. Thank you for your hard work and the information. I'm looking forward to watch your new image and the shots of the MD11.However, there are one thing I want to ask. How is your 747 project going? Are you guys still waiting for the FS team to release more tools? Or are you back on track with the development?I just wonder, because the day your FSX compatible 747 is released, will be the day I fully convert to FSX :-) RaymondNorway
  8. Press ALT and hold it until the toolbar disappears :-)RaymondNorway
  9. Left-click with your mouse on the top of the yoke. When you do that, the yoke will lower itself down so that you can get a fine view of all of the instruments. Hope that helps :-) RaymondNorway
  10. Does anyone have a good tip on how to measure the distance between the 747-400 and the taxi centerline behind it? I always end up several meters to the left or right of the centerline, which is not much realistic. How do you measure the exact distance so that the 747 stops exactly at the Taxi Centerline after the 90 degree turn?:-)RaymondNorway:-)
  11. Considering PMDG is making such a detailed 747-400, it seems like I have found a detail that is not that accurate. I've noticed something in the cockpit videos I've been watching. When pressing the TOGA button, the thrust levers in the PMDG 747 reacts immediately. In the real aircraft, there seem to be a second or two of delay from pressing the TOGA to the thrust levers reacts :-) Is this the case or does it just looks like it in the videos? Sorry about this small detail, but if you're going to find anything wrong with the PMDG 747, you really have to look at the details ;)It is a fantastic product. RaymondNorway
  12. Hi,I think the new bloom effect in FSX looks really nice. Although, it does take up some resources on my computer, I still get 8-15 FPS on my outdated (but soon to be replaced) computer, with everything maxed. However, I've noticed one thing with the Bloom Effect. When the sun is shining and there are lights along the runway, I can actually see the bloom Effect through the wall in the Virtual Cockpit. If I in the default 747 looks back in the "library" (Where the engineer used to sit in the -200), and the sun is shining there, I can se it through the wall. And when I'm doing the take-off roll on the runway, I can see the center lights running down the VC panels after it is suppose to disappear underneath the aircraft.Has anyone else noticed this? I just wonder if this is a bug or there's something wrong with my installation :-)RaymondNorway
  13. Ahh...I get it. So the numbers on the EPR in EICAS is the actual ratio of inlet vs exhaust, right?I tried to search the PMDG forum, but I got up so many hits that didn't help me at all, that I decided to ask instead. I'll try to do a more thorough search. Thank you for your help.RaymondNorway
  14. Hi,I have mostly, also while flying the -400F, used GE powered engines which uses N1 for power reference. Now I have tested out the PW and RR powered aircraft, but find it difficult to understand the EPR reference on the EICAS. I also find it difficult to find any information about it. So I just wonder, can anyone tell me the difference between using N1 and EPR as a reference. I know that N1 is the power of the large fan in the front of the engine, but what does EPR represent? What do the numbers on the EICAS mean?RaymondNorway
  15. I couldn't agree with you more. PMDG is way ahead of its competitors when it comes to continuous support for their products. That's why I keep buying their products, even if it is products that I don't really use that much :-)I'm looking forward to these new sounds.RaymondNorway
  16. Are you sure you have turned off all firewalls and anti-virus programs before validating? Those times I have had problems, this has been the cause of it.RaymondNorway
  17. Thanks for the report, Timothy!I hope that Blooper Reel will be on the DVD's or released online. It would have been fun to watch :-) I'm looking forward to your next report.RaymondNorway
  18. Hi,I have tested out the beta of FSX for a while now, and I have noticed a couple of minor things that might be a bug.I have noticed that when I'm flying a single engine cessna in wet weather, the water is being blown backwards behind the propeller when full throttle is applied. However, when I'm changing to a 747-400, the water still blows backwards right underneath the aircraft. It looks like FSX still think I am flying a Cessna. The water shold be blown back behind the four engines. When I fly the 737-800 and come up to about 7000 or 8000 feet, the autogen objects start to disappear in squares. I have all settings set to high, except the water. I don't know if this is a bug or if it is meant to be like that, though. Are we suppose to see autogen objects in FL200? or FL350 for that matter? As I said, this is just a couple of minor things I wanted to get off my chest. I don't know if they can qualify as bugs, but now I at least have listed them.I'm looking forward to the release which shoulb be just around the corner now :-) RaymondNorway
  19. Hi,Here is what jbrian (Brian @ Aces) said about fsuipc in another thread:"FSX will provide a programming interface we call "SimConnect" that provides the vast majority of funtionality FSUIPC provides, as well as some additional stuff. So current and future addon developers will be able to function without relying on FSUIPC. For backwards compatability, though, it will be up to Pete if he wants to implement a new version." :-) RaymondNorway
  20. So the release of FSX has been pushed back to December 2011. Is that what you are telling us? ;-) :-lol RaymondNorway
  21. Finally we get some news on the BETA. Tdragger has just updated his blog with a very informative article. Thank you, Mike!It looks like it is still hope for all of us ;-) Have a read:http://blogs.msdn.com/tdragger/archive/200...6.aspx#comments:-) RaymondNorway
  22. To be more direct, here is a quote from Robert's original post in the thread "So.... What's Coming from PMDG?":"This is not a product update to the existing NG line, it is an entirely new product line unique for FSX- and will give you the entire NG product line (737-600/700/800/900 and we expect BBJ/BBJ2 plus a few common military variants) in one package, unlike the FS2004 product line"That should be an answer to your question :) RaymondNorway
  23. I might be wrong as well, but from what I remember from the articles I have read, the number 1200 people are refering to had to do with gated Airports. There are 1200 airports with gates. Maybe Tdragger can elaborate on the numbers that has been discussed in this thread.:-wave :DI have not seen any list reagarding what airports will be very detailed, but I have read that there will be "popular" airports (whatever that means) that will be on this list.:-)
  24. From Fileplanet you get the full version (12GB) Beta, from Gamespot you get the 800 MB (or whatever) Demo :-) RaymondNorway
