  1. Nice, got my registration and all seems to be working. Now I just have to adjust with this more realistic ATC.
  2. Thanks, received the email link this morning. Now I'm doing the registration thing and waiting for the registration email. Just curious, is the registration automated or is the reply manually done? Regards,Joel
  3. I'm having this same problem... but it's not email related. I paid for the download on Friday, Jan 4... still haven't received the email download link yet. Chalking it up to the weekend, but the website is pretty specific about 24 hours. Maybe they should add a comment about weekends.
  4. Thanks Barry... but what I meant was for FS9 to remember where multiple aircraft were. For example, if I park both the Pilatus and King Air next to one another and I load the Pilatus... I can see the King Air parked next to me. I don't think there is a way to do that.MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!
  5. I was hoping that there was an addon that allowed you to save the positions of select aircraft. I know about saving defaults and being able to continue from a location. Just wondering if there was a way for FS9 to remember where aircraft were left. It seems to me that an addon like this would be out there someplace. But maybe not...Thanks for the info.
  6. I fly a Pilatus PC-12 and a King Air 200 from Hesperia, California. How do I get FS9 to have a memory about where they are parked? Can I get FS9 to have a memory about ALL aircraft? If I leave something in a particular airport will it be there until I move it?
  7. The only program having problems identifying my gpu is FS9. Even FSX sees it ok. I'm assuming that something happened to FS9 and I'll need to do a complete reinstall, a pain in the butt but it seems it's necessary.

Thanks, can I try a second install?
  9. I tried both idea and neither one worked for me. I did find that my video card driver just had an update on the 17th and updated that. I even tried an old cfg file that has the correct video card information in it, to no avail. About three weeks ago I had a problem with a driver that made it appear that sectors of my hard drive were bad. Several chkdsk runs showed a couple corrupted sectors. Not sure if this is part of the problem. Do you think I'll have to delete and reinstall? Can I do a second install without damaging the first install? On a different hard drive (since I have 4).Regards,
  10. I'm at a loss for this one. A couple months ago I noticed my screen suddenly got really jerky. It got so bad that I quit playing FS9 after a couple days TS. I decided to look at it again today and noticed that there isn't a graphics card listed in the graphics settings. I suspect that this is my problem but I cannot figure out how to get it listed again. I have a Radeon X800 GTO 256mb. Anyone out there with an idea short of reinstallation of FS9?
  11. I've done some sniffing around and haven't found this... what's the most northerly airport capable of landing, or taking off in, a fully loaded queen?
  12. Thanks, I think I'll set up a js button as well.
  13. OK guys, add Singapore Changi to the list... but I don't remember which runway I flew apart on.
  14. I'm sure this is a dumb question to most of you, but... Where the heck is this thing? I've looked through the manual and didn't find it's location... although many references to it. I can use the screw in the 2D cockpit but where on earth is the TO/GA button in the virtual cockpit.
  15. >It may be that the runway surface is coded as asphalt in the>afcad file. This has caused me several crashes on some>airports, for instance WSSS Changi, Singapore. 17. I just picked it up at the Best Buy in Victorville, California. They had numerous copies of both versions, I got the deluxe. Still installing it but will let you know if any issues pop up with performance or registration.
  18. Hmmm, I've had the same thing happen at various airports and always attributed it to a bad airport code.I've been just above the runway, flaring... and suddenly the autopilot shuts down, and the nose drops... this has happened off an on. Weird.
  19. Ditto, I've had the same problem off and on since getting QoS. I've assumed it's a DX9 issue since I see a little screen flicker when the menu bar vanishes. Best of luck on this one,
  20. My problem vanished when I rebooted my computer. Not sure what happened in there but it had me baffled for a couple days. I did remember that I had installed the BBJ and the 1900D. But I doubt that either would have caused that problem. With regards to my problem and subsequent solution... do you know how a software engineer fixes a flat tire? He turns off his car and restarts it, hoping that the tire will fix itself. :-yellow1
  21. I'm having the exact same problem. This just started after months of nice 744 flights (my favorite is Sydney to Ontario, a LONG flight).FD and AT are on, ensured autopilot disconnect is on... no CMD indication. Licensed version of FSUIPC. Completely dead autopilot from what I can see. The lights for SPEED, ALT, LNAV, VNAV... etc, all come on but do nothing.hmmmmmm
  22. Ya, that's what Beta's are for... finding problems. But at least the solution for FS9 was an easy one. I've not had any other problems with IE7.
  23. Don't forget the FS9 issue with the latest IE7 Beta 2... it causes a CTD when you go for the NavLog. There is a fix though... see Microsoft for it. You'll need to delete a dll file.
