    When Aerosoft were talking about their own new sim a couple or three years ago they were suggesting a modular approach with others, each contributing their own speciality to make up the whole (my words, not AS). The same could apply here. Rob; (idly speculating, past my bedtime).

    Just for info, Your STAR would normally be TIMBA as LUMBA is only used when MAY VOR/DME is out of use. Rob.

    Treescapes transforms the GenX photo scenery - trees are correctly placed, with density controlled by the autogen slider. Not just a nice addition, but a game-changer. No good with default scenery, only GenX or Just Flight photographic. Rob.

    I have the same images side-by-side on two monitors, and the colours are slightly different. Everyone's set up will differ. The one thing that is certainly not accurate is memory. Rob.

    Jim, thanks for replying. In the event, the whole thing became so complicated that I elected to do a fresh install of Windows 7 - so many errors were being thrown up that I lost the will to live, having spent more than 20 hours working on this! I suspect it was all self-inflicted, trying to link AS2012 on my laptop to FSX on the pc. My Windows installation was only a few days old on my new setup, so not too big a deal once I'd bit the bullet. Just three days now to reinstall FSX... Thanks again, Rob.

    I had the same thing last week, with a different name (Metropolitan Police). A search came up with a few fixes, although Microsoft was better. Replacing explorer.exe was one solution, possibly. I believe it was Malwarebyte that fixed it, downloaded via safe mode with networking, and running a full scan (and I mean full!).

    Folks, I just completed a successful flight, no problems at all. I can only think that I was careless inputting the info, trying to squeeze quick flights into my day and not paying sufficient attention. All would now appear to be ok - thank you all for the quick response and sorry to be a bit of a time-waster!Rob.

    I enter my Flight Level as normal eg 35000 and all is well until I suddenly start getting chastised for busting my altitude. This cannot be so because everything is spot-on. I looked to see that I had entered the correct info and found that it showed 35010. This has repeated every flight. Any thoughts on this, please?Rob
