Hi - I can drag the FMC to airdisplay, but the window just turns black, like it's not updating :-( Anyone had the same issue and found a solution ? Thanks :-)

Made a restall og windows 7 / fsx. It seems to have cleared the dx9 vs. dx10 problem, and I now have almost the same FPS in both. But still not much better than the 8800GTX. I guess the Level-d is the fault. I have increased the CPU clock from 3,2 to 3,8 and this has increased the VC FPS with about 5 FPS. Is there something in the BIOS I should be aware of regarding the new 5870 card ? Thanks to all of you - just love FSX :-) (ps. the 5870 really kicks &@($* in other games compared to the 8800GTX, and without any more noise)

Hi djt01It's strange. When I use DX10 preview, I get ~60 FPS inside the VC in the default 737. When disabling DX10, I get ~14 fps.... so, something must be wrong I might have to do a reinstall. When I use my favorite aircraft the Level-D 767, it seems that I get the same FPS as with the 8800GTX. So does this show, that the VC is very depended on CPU power?It seems that I have a lot adjustments to do.Jorgensenps. a hardware question. I have OC my i7 920 to 3,2. Hi dtj01I did a clean install of windows 7 with my old 8800gtx installed. I did not install drivers from nvidia. I then used Driver Sweeper to remove any drivers. I then installed the 5870 and downloaded the latest 9.10 beta driver. My system:i7 920 @3,26 gb ramrunning at 1680x1050

It seems that I have to enable DX10 preview to get ok performance in FSX. Is this what others experience ? The problem is that I miss some textures when running DX10 :-(Sometimes I get very poor FPS, actually my old 8800GTX performs better. I think this baby needs some tweaks (and better drivers ?)Does anyone have some tips on optimizing this card for FSX ? Thanks

thanks jd. I have interact with ai enabled. I will try to rebuild this evening. But what is strange is that the first one takes off.

HiI'm having this problem that when I taxi to the runway, I se AI taking off, but when I'm at the holding point as number tree, the first one takes off, but the in front lines up and gets the clearence, but never starts

I'm using UT II/FSX and RC 4.3.3845.I'm traning my capabilities on a route from EKYT to EKCH over and over again :-) I just got aware of that I don't hear any AI chatter. I have enabled "AI chatter" and "interact with AI" and seleced all sounds under voices > pilot chatter.Does anyone have some advice ?ThanksEDIT:Sorry, please ignore (delete ?) this topic - it seems to work now...

When I try to load a saved situation, RC says that it can't load the xxxxx.flt plan for that situation. I'm sure it's there, in the same folder. The files are:EKYT - EKCH RC 03 at TESPI.FLTEKYT - EKCH RC 03 at TESPI.rcdWhat am I doing wrong ?

maybe it has something to do about the "MIC Selector it set to VHF 1" where is that done ?

Is there a simple way to check if the red button is working ? Hi BryanYes, I have the updates installed, both for the 767 and FS2Crew. I'm able to manual activate both LNAV and VNAV holding on the runway. Can it have anything to do with CMD ? i'ts off.

I'm also having problems to activate the lnav at 400 feet, via the red button. Does anyone have a solution ?Thanks

HiFirst, thank you very much..... this is what I have been wating for, for at loooooong time :-)This might be a very noob question, but I simply can't delete the assignment for the num del, that is used to enable / disable EZ_Walk. It seems to that the view somehow resets (looking backwards ?) when I press this button. Does anyone know how to solve the problem ?Jorgensen

Having just purchased the FSX 747x and been dissapointed by the poor performence of the SP2 in FSX. I'm considering the 'downgrade' to FS9 - but is it possible to get some discount going from 747x for FSX to 747 for FS9 ?ThanksJorgensen
