Before I start another flight, what do FAC and G/P indicate. Can't find it in the manuals. Jeff

On approach to all ILS runways I can't push the VOR/LOC button after obviously being lined up properly and the solid pink lines and diamonds appear. CMD is engaged, flight director is on, course is set properly, ILS frequency set into both NAV radios. My PFD is showing some indications I haven't seen before... FAC and G/P. How do I close the FS2Crew window? Hitting the same key I use to start it doesn't work. "X"ing it out doesn't work. Probably a dumb question, right? Sorry, Bryan. Jeff

Not sure if this is a Windows problem or a FS2Crew or FSX problem. After working successfully for several years, suddenly when I drag an FS2Crew window to my 2nd monitor the window moves but the content is replaced by a black screen within a few seconds. Occasionally the content will appear after a couple minutes but not often. I like to keep my sim screen uncluttered and the windows such as FS2Crew, Radar Contact etc. on my second monitor. Would appreciate any help. Not sure if this is a Windows problem or a FS2Crew or Avilasoft problem or FSX problem. After working successfully for several years, suddenly when I drag an FS2Crew or Avilasoft window to my 2nd monitor the window moves that the content is replaced by a black screen within a few seconds. Occasionally the content will appear after a couple minutes but not often. I like to keep my sim screen uncluttered and the windows such as FS2Crew, Radar Contact and Aivlasoft EFB on my second monitor. Would appreciate any help. On March 9 I purchased Prepar3D v3 Academic License however was unable to install it because of a missing Windows Installation file. I have since been told that v3 is not compatible with my operating system, Vista Ultimate 64bit. I was also told that v1 IS compatible. How can I download v1 without having to pay for an additional license. Decided to finally purchase my first addon airport and chose Flightbeam's KSFOHD. Followed all the instructions to the letter and not only do I have no buildings at KSFO I have lost my GSX and Addon Manager from my top menu. Redownloaded everything making sure ALL antivirus software was off. Reloaded and still the same problem. Wouldn't mind just chalking up the Flightbeam purchase to a bad experience and going back to the original but must have my GSX back. Would appreciate any help. New to BSSMM and think it's great. Only problems are the aircraft symbol doesn't show up on the charts which makes it difficult to pinpoint location. Also, can't get the wx feature to work. I'm using ASN Jeff Evans Rocklin, CA, USA

Is there a way to circumvent the wx radar check? There is with the 777. Jeff

Latest updates to both PMDG 737NGX and FS2Crew Reboot. Things seem to work well until the FO calls for the wx radar check. Any ideas? Jeff Even Rocklin, CA

Just reinstalled NGX package and now, although the cockpit views are fine the exterior views are sort of "skeletonized". No fuselage... just wings. I know I've seen this addressed before but a search did turn anything up. Also when reinstalling my acft liveries I get an error message saying "The file C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Aircraft\PMDG737-800\texture\pmdg_airstairs.bmp could not be opened." I can't find any such file... what did I do now?? Jeff Evans Rocklin, CA

Thanks for all the help! After trying several different fixes and Pete Dowson's registry fix the problem still wasn't resolved but I found that using the Z axis for ALL throttles works as that axis doesn't jump. Will continue to experiment and let you know how it finally turns out. BTW to 777Simmer's question, I only have 1 throttle quadrant and it is a replacement less than a year ago after my first one went south. J
