Hi ciaran no, thats not the problem...as we who run XP64 units do not have admin problems, this is a messed up download..coupled with the registration not matching as far as I can see....as all the downloads were from JF and it is the same for each install, looks like I bought it too soon...should have waited a week or so, My mistake ..as everyone who has it running OK thinks its great, I could tell you how I feel......but that is not for here in the forums, Greatly dissapointed ! Do any of you fellows use XP64..if so where does it install the aircraft ? On my system I have the OS on © and FSX on (E) and it installs on (E/FSX) but in SimObjects Airplanes....not a folder of its own..is this correct ? The problem I have is ..after installation..I pick any re-paint..lets say AC or Porter, and press fly now..and it will not load the aircraft..saying microsoft has a problem and will close, I tried to load a default aircraft and switch to the Q-400...but that only brings up a grey outline of the VC, No matter what I do it will not load the aircraft !!! This is after three complete uninstall and re-install efforts, Anyone else experiencing the same, I ask here as there is no support..being sunday and they are busy with activations, Totally disappointed with this....never happens with other addons, Best Regards Don Nelson

Frustrating three hours..trying to authorize this install...and still getting..NO order found , then cannot connect the server....then too short a responce...etc etc etc, First and last purchase from just flight...with no support over the weekend of the release is NOT the way this should be put out, If there were to be problems.. with the installations...why not wait until the support team is available for solving installation problems... Totally put off by this experience....never had a purchase go this bad in years, Best Regards Don Nelson

Hi Word Not Allowed In the meantime..I found a great tutorial on how to use the FSUIPC ...and what does what....without me reading and trying to figuire out what to do and what not to do, it also explains in plain english and bold print, This will alow me to read (on my second computor ..where I have AS2012,Flight sim commander,etc)...and work on setting up FSUIPC, On the main computor, So hold on....doing anything ....until I get back to you..via this topic, and I appreciate your comments so far and the great reviews you have done to date, If I get hung up on something...I will come back to you with the questions, Many Thanks and Best Regards Don Nelson

Hi Word Not Allowed, ok ,I see what you mean by writing it down..would be as bad as reading the FSUIPC docs, I wonder if you would be able to post the individual pages of your FSUIPC..So I can go by that, Also did you first install the PFCFX.DLL from Peter Dowson ? and did you use that at all for your setup, The biggest problem I have is setting the axis assingnments and the joystick calibrations...as the nubers bounce all over the place ..and I do not know which is proper for the up side and the downside,and dead zone numbers, I thought if I could see your pages it would give me a head start..or an idea of one...also how you treated the reverse lever, , gear lever,spoiler lever...if they are treated as buttons or levers ..and are they calibrated as well, Another question is ...did you or do you make them- aircraft-specific...as I have the 737X--747X---MD11 all by PMDG, and if so what changes have to be made, I realize I am a big pain....you know where...but I am stuck ..not knowing the answers from above, many thanks and Best Regards Don Nelson

Hi Word Not Allowed After reading your review on the PFC CIRRUS yoke, I ordered one and also the throttle quadrant, with 4 engine throttle setup...and everything was shipped via UPS and arrived here on friday, so I set it up and you are correct all items have a great feel and are very well built..and look great Now the problem I am having is in the setup... ..I have read all of the FSUIPC documents until my eyes started to bleed...and I still cannot set the axsis and switches and buttons...the throttles are the biggest pain..I just cannot get the results right, I would like to set the reverser...the same way you did...as well as program everything through FSUIPC for the yoke as well as the trottle quadrant, Is there some way I can get your method..of how you set yours up...a complete step by step narative, At the young age of 75..I am losing my ability to comprehend 50 pages of do this,..but beware of that , I know I am asking a lot but... After viewing the outside of the T7 shown by Capt Robert....there is a small fin on the outside of the engine cover..on the inboard side of each engine......can you explain the purpose for this fin, Also if Ryan is reading this...will the T7 be tested by someone with a TH2 go and 3 screens, Cheers Don Nelson

HI Gear-up-off ....Yes sir, you nailed it....first time around..that was the answer I was looking for... for months...I now have my first screen shot of the 737.......you are a very sharp person to fiquire that mystery out....many thanks //// I do not remember putting that V in the key assignments....but must have done so when I first purchased this aircraft.....and could not for the life of me find out why I could...take a screenshot of all other aircraft..... but this one, When you suggested that I went to the FMC and found out what I had done and took theV assignment out and took shot.... landed and sure enough it worked. Now the only thing I have to do is.... have Tom Allensworth.....to quit calling me a newbie...how can you be 74 and a member since /08 and still be called a newbie ? Yes..thankyou for your suggestions...however I used both V key and the print screen key ...with no results with the 737NGX, For instance..I can start FSX with no other programs running..and place the 747 or MD11 or the Level D 767 at a gate..go to the outside view and hit the V key and it will capture the screenshot each time ( in the past 4-5 years..used this method with success ) However if I start FSX and place the 737 at the same gate..go to the outside view...hit the V key..this will not capture the shot, the second try...if I use the print screen key...the same result ...no capture, I know it is really strange as i have captured over 80 sceenshots...just in the last year..in all types of weather and also on the ground and in the air...(.but only when using other aircraft.)..not so with the 737NGX, It is...... as if the 737..crosses its wings ...and says oh no you can not take a picture of me as I am not fully dressed yet, sure is baffiling to me, I will try one of the picture capture programs to see if that will change the results, In the meantime..if anyone has futher suggestions I would appreciate it, Best Regards Don Nelson

Hi Gang I have had the aircraft...since it came out in aug...and have never been able to take screenshots of this craft...and cannot find the problem, I can take sceenshots of all the other PMDG planes MD11,747,747-8 , LevelD 767 etc....everyone, but this 737NGX,. It does not make a difference if its the stock PMDG paint or a repaint....I have tried them all....and I can not take a sceenshot of anyone of them...strange thing //// I am using WinXP 64, This is a big problem for me as I use this aircraft the most...and would like to take sceenshots of some of the weather I encounter with AS2012 and the 737NGX, All help would be appreciated, Best Regards Don Nelson. Paul....when you add the next pole...could you include....have you been successful in preforming 1 flight without a freeze,second...did the freeze happen after the use of the FMC-CDU,...as in my case I cannot preform one flight , the freeze takes placenormanally while I am putting the flight plan in..or just after completeing it and will freeze before pushback,and if not then..it will freeze in taxi to the runway or wait until the climb out..never allowing to get past 4000ft. even if I do not mess with FMC ..and just take off..I will get the freeze shortly after..and be unable to complete the flight, Sorry, but that is the way it is, I had to lie in the pole up above...as you left out the video memory of 1.94.4 ..and the 1200 watt power unitCheersDon Nelson
