Question:Today I flew the B747, long haul flight and FS stopt responding because I did something stupid with other programms.Lucly I had Autosave by FSUIPC.The old B737ng (FS9) wasn't able to save panel status etc. via autosave.Will the B737ngx be able to be fully functional after autosave?

I was flying FS2004 for a long time, but I installed FSX again. Because FSX has to run on a system like I have. :biggrin:I still haven't uninstalled FS2004 (because if I do, I can't fly the 737 anymore) but most times I fly FSX now.My first flight will be a Transavia flight from Amsterdam/Rotterdam I think.Properbly heading to Innsbruck or southbound towards Spain.I really can't wait to have the 737ngx. My FSX is ready (I hope :( ) and I'm ready too!Also I can't wait for the summer and fly to Greece with Transaiva Va( www.transavia-virtual.com )Short runways, difficult approaches and awesome sceneries!

I got a GTX 460 2 weeks ago. Before that I had a 9800GT.With the 9800GT many black vertical lines in FSX, with the GTX460 those lines are history.I have now about ~4/5fps more then I had before.Other games are running very well on the card (FS2004 much more better)I am happy with the card. It was worth the €200,-FSX is just so beautiful, here a screenshot (no edit, straight from FSX) with a fps between 30 and 40I hope my system will be running the NGX fine: Q9550 2,8Ghz, 4GB RAM, Geforce GTX460But then again, the MD11 is running fine, the 737NGX shouldn't be a problem

Can I also add CapsLock as a Mute Button? Because I prefer to use CapsLock as a push-to-talk button in Teamspeak. (with IVAO)Thnks!Robin

To merge, and to use the Mega Merge A340 Virtual Cockpit in the Overland A330 do this:* Ofcourse install the A340 merge and PSS A330 + A340* Take the overland A330 folder and take all the virtual model folders, like: - MODEL.GE1VC - MODEL.PW1VC* Copy whole the Panel folder from the A340 merge to the A330 folder.* Find a nice soundpack on the internet* Download the file from below (I just noticed my airplanes are still in the aircraft.cfg, you can delete those ofcouse but leave anything below it just like it is)* Add a repaint and enjoy.I only tested the Airbus A330-200Known problems* If you press Shift+5 to see the Throttle panel you see 4 throttles instead of 2. (only the 2 on the left side work)* When loading the plane you will see the plane is overloaded with ~50.000kg. I did a testflight last night from Capetown to Amsterdam with the A332, it was overloaded with around 30.000kg but it was still flying good.* I think the plane still climbs very fast. Even with fully load you can still climb with 4000ft/min (I don't know if that is possible in real life)This merge is far from perfect but it works. I can't go above FL250 or the speed decreases very quicly. Even when I maintain the flightlevel with full trust, I am still slowing down.

I spent a few hours figuring out how he did it, but it worked.Here are some shots:Well that looks nice, doesn't it?Then I looked at the Airbus A330-200 + PSS panel. I did exacly the same as I did with the A330-300There is only a small problem; the virtual cockpit is behind me (I think because the A332 is a bit shorter than the A333)Oke, still not a big problem, I just push Cntrl+Enter and I go back, But I can't go further than this;I think I need to change some values in the aircraft.cfg but I have no idea what numbers I need to change.The Aircraft.cfg is included in this topic. Yup, but I only use 2D while cruising. While landing, taxi, take-off etc. I use the 3D panel.

Well, somebody helped me and I found a solution.Press Shift+Enter in 2D view and the view goes up.

I always zoom out with every 2D panel. But never had this problem before. Does it something have to do with that box? (Dummy Main view)

Hello,I got a problem when zooming out in the 2D view. While loading the flightsimulator I see this box, never seen it before.When loading completed, the box disappaers.Then I zoom out my 2d View. Like I always do. But the view is to high. I am looking into the sky, normally you can see the ground/buildings/etc.. too.I have this problem with the B744 and the B744F on FS2004OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64Installed on an seperate partition Reinstalling is not my preffered option, maybe somebody knows an other solutionThnks,Robin

For me the B777 series ofcourse. And the A330 series and the A340 seriesEspecially the A330. Really missing a good A330 for FS on the market...There are currently 2 reasonable A330 / A340 for FS on the market. (only 2 whit a reasonable panel) (Wilco & PSS) and they are both not so very good....

Hye,Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64I have FS9 installed on the D disk.I had FSX installed on the L disk.A time ago the computer could not startup windows. I repaired it via MSdos as the computer told me to do.When everything was fixed again I booted up Windows and I saw my L disk disappeard. Al the sofware on that disk was gone. Including FSXThe problem was that all the software from FSX was still in the registery.I deleted every map that was called FSX on my computer, nothing left.I tried to uninstall FSX but that didn't work, I tried to install, and that worked. But everything was still in the old configuration. The computer even said FSX SP2 was installed but that was not possible because it was a fresh install. I uninstalled everything again and FSX disappeard from the software list, a good thing!I try to install FSX again and I get the error 1610.I did everything that was told in this topic and I have run a few times CCcleaner to clean the registery.I deleted everything in the registery called Flight Simulator X (Yes I looked very good if it was a FSX file)Nothing worked. Still get that Error 1610 The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnelIs there anything else I can do?I'm scared that whole my registery is ** up and that I need to install Windows again.Maybe somebody knows an other solutionThankyou,Robin

FPS are still very worse.With other planes I do not have any problems in Windows 7. But the Wilco/Feelthere Embrears do not work very well.If anybody has still some tips....please, go ahead and share them.Grts,Robin

Well I did this now, and it seems to work. No low Fps anymore :( * Go into program files\microsoft games\ * highlight Flight Simulator X folder and right-click on it * Select the SECURITY tab * Click on your username (not on Administrator 1) * Click on the 'edit' option (it should have a pic of a shield on the button with edit next to it) * Then you should be prompted by Vista security module, click on 'ALLOW' * Then tick the 'Full Control' box and press 'OK'But then ofcourse for my Fs9

Well I did everything with security and what you guys said. When I start my flight the fps is oke. Around 28 stabel. After a few minutes the fps drops down. In the sky I now have only around 17fps (with luck) and on the ground it is even worse.My specs:Q9550 (3,2Ghz)4GB RAMGeforce 9800GT 1024mbOther addons like PMDG planes with aerosoft scenery's are the most of the time above 25fps.

My FPS with the Wilco E-jets (FS2004) on windows 7 64 bit are also not that best.On Vista I had no problems at all.Maybe somebody knows a sollution or I just hope Wilco will make an update.GrtsRobin
