Hi chapsThis seems to be a sporadic problem rather than a permanent fault of Microsoft's.I've just checked the real-world weather for Tampa and it's almost spot on in comparison with the published METAR.This is the METARKTPA 101853Z 34011G19KT 10SM FEW040 SCT250 06/M03 A3036 RMK AO2 SLP281 T00611033... and this is what FlightSim is throwing up at the moment.RegardsBrian

Dear DavidI rarely post on the AVSIM forums but I do read most of the entries on them every day. It's the tireless work of people like you and your fellow moderators that helps to make it such a pleasure to visit these pages. Much of what you do is visible to us all but I'm sure there is so much more that is carried out 'behind the scenes' and that we never see.I just want to record my professional thanks for all you have done over the years and I also want to add a more personal wish for all the strength that you might need in dealing with the reasons that are going to keeping you away for some time. Just for the record - I entirely agree with Geoff's comment from earlier today.This isn't the only thread where snave has introduced unecessary personal insults to a thread that I'm reading for enlightenment rather than confrontation. And, frankly, I find that approach distasteful and probably in breach of Avsim's conditions of posting - but a moderator or adminstrator would undoubtedly know that much better than me.Brian Wilks

I'd just like to second that.I'm not a massive user of the library but it has some absolute nuggets of gold. I can't imagine the amount of blood, sweat and tears that have been involved by all the volunteers who've been involved in rectifying the vandalism of a few months ago.
