I installed Sim not on disk C but on disk G and it's in the folder WindowsApps/ This folder is unaccessible, even for me, the administrator! So, I can't change, rename or substitute this .dll file. Seems that installation is different for any user , depending on multiple factors. What a useless mess !!

Well, there is no limit of time , apparently. After some minutes waiting the only way to exit back to home screen is Task Manager. Yes, I run FSLTL as traffic injector and GSX, but I had no problem since last week. Suddenly this issue appeared.... It seems related to some save/write on disk task, but I can't figure out what's causing it. Maybe a Intel Disk management ? Maurizio

Since few days I encountered a new issue : at the end of a flight, when I click to return back to main screen, the sim stucks during the process. The green bar at the bottom slowly increase toward right side, then it stops and the only way to exit the program is from Task Manager. Obviously, when I restart FS it shows the initial message " start in normal mode or safe mode ? " No recently upgrades or installs.... Maurizio

Yes, I saw this message on the forum.... it's really silly they still don't know how to manage the P3D market : Envshade , envtex , etc... were made for P3D market ! Lol

Last experience of this afternoon. Set all the stuff as per advice here in this thread : P3D AM calculator, Process Lasso to distribute load on cores, etc.... Started a flight online from LEPA to EDDF with great satisfaction. Smoothness and fluidity , 50 and even more FPS (limited at 60) , CPU at 70/80 % average . After one hour or so, flying over the Alps, no airports nearby , no traffic around, no heavy sceneries, nothing, suddenly P3D started to stutter, pause and finallly CTD. No way to restore. Tried to stop AS with no results. It's really frustrating. P3D 5.3 HF1 is a wonderful sim, but LM MUST do something to solve this issue. Maurizio

Flight simulation market is quite complex, made by various kind of customers. MSFS 2020 is a eye-candy game, designed and tailored for desktop users, aimed to give you an amazing entertainment. Dot. P3D is a semi-professional environment thought to satisfy the complexity and realism of a "simulation of reality". Flight schools and FTO think at P3D as a potential , powerful and affordable device for training and skills practice. Home cockpit builders don't even think to switch to MSFS for our systems.... Two different markets, that's all. Desktop users are a more attractive audience ? Maybe, but I'd be very careful.. Maurizio

Have you installed FTX Global, EuropeLC,and similar stuff ? In my experience, flyng around UK is almost impossible in that case.... Maurizio

Hi, I have the same issue (regular pauses, say every 1 minute or so, lasting 5 to 10 seconds) when Flying over UK or departing/Landing at Heathrow, Gatwick , Stansted.... I noticed that there is a momentary lack in the activity both of CPU and GPU. It's visible in regular, rithmic way : 5 to 10 secs. every 1 minute or even less. Firstly I supposed it was a scenery related issue , but disabling scenery airport does not solve anything. ORBX could be investigated, in my opinion.... Flying over other countries in whole Europe seems not have any related issue. B737/800 Home-cockpit - Prosim2.11 - P3d 4.3- GTX80ti - I74770 4,1ghz - 24 MB ram - tons of sceneries....

I don't really know what to say. As a simmers I used to naviagate on this site for years and you,Tom have always been a friendly presence for all of us. As a doctor, I can only say : enjoy every hour from now on and stay with your beloved every minute to share each others vicinity.
