I have a problem, when closing X-PAX the sounds (from inside a terminal) keep going.I have used the task manager, but it still wont shut up. The only way to stop it is to reboot.Any ideas?Paul :(

:( I hope someone can help me.I have many add-ons (scenery), but none are showing in the "ADDON SCENERY" box. When I go into the my computer, etc it shows in the addon scenery. But not when I open it in the settings, in FSX.Can any please help.Thank youPaul :(

I use KSBP as the scenery around San Luis Obispo up or down the California coast is great. :(

Where is the FSX.exe located?

I have just purchased a new computer (windows 7, 1TB, GTX460 etc).When I change anything in the aircraft .cfg and save, it wont let me.I think it maybe just a "tick" or "untick" in a program, but I dont know where.Can you please tell me where to go (now, now) to fix this problem.Thank you

When I have problems with any thing in the aircraft, I use ADDIT PRO. There you can put in another cockpit. Or it will tell you whats wrong with the .cfg :(

When I installed FSX in the normal program files, it didnt work.I called the computer manufacture and they said that FSX is a 32 bit game, and should be installed on programs x84

B) B) I have just purchased a new computer with Windows 7 and FSX is running in (x86) what ever that means.All of the land areas are blue. So you get trees in the air, which should be on a hill.The buildings etc are showing ok.I tried to put a picture of it in the thread but couldn,t get the hang of doing it. I just called easypc-uk.com and they suggested i5 with GTX 570 as I have a 24" monotor.

:Hypnotized: I'm buying myself a new computer this year. (looking at machines around £900-1400 @ Easypc-uk.com). What would you get? i5 or i7, gtx 570 or 580? I will be using FSX. Thanks for your help in advance.Paul

Weird enough, I have now figured all the mess was caused by the last update of my AntiVirus (AVIRA) software as of December 13th 2010! Damn. So for now, I did a system restore from a date before, uninstalled and reinstalled AntiVirus (version from 15 Nov.), without letting it update for the time being.FS9 runs again. ...that was tight.Again, thanks to you all for your helpful suggestions!......................................................................................... :( I keep on getting a message FS9 cant start."FS cannot run because the version of Microsoft DirectX installed is incompatible. Please reinstall DirectX by running FS setup".I have uninstalled FS9 and reinstalled 3 times, but I still get the same error message.Can someone please HELP.Paul :( :(

I purchased and downloaded FSC9. When I started to install this I got a message "MSFS9 NOT FOUND. INSTALL FIRST THEN RELOAD". I clicked OK. Got the main Database Manager page. Lefthand side says "select Flight Simulator Path here. Did that, but on the righthand side it says "Invalivd path". So wont go any further and load.Please help.ThanksPaul :(

I subscribe to both PC PILOT and COMPUTER PILOT. They both are good reading. If I had to pick one, it would be PC PILOT as it is more informative overall. :(

Is their any other weather program to download for FS9? I find that Jeppson is not up to date. If I remember right their was a government site for downloading weather for earlier MSFS.Any ideas or programs to make the weather better.Thank youPaul :(
