  1. Hi !as so happy with performance and quality, could you share with me your set-up in fs9.cfg ?many thanksregards !JM
  2. Dear all,I am trying to work with fs9.cfg to set-up the best appeareance possibile.Still not able to set-up bigger range for visibility of the most detailed scenery/textures (not visibility itself but the visibility of the best detail one). The same problem is with autogen. the objects are just appearing at about 4 miles in front of me. Is it possible to set-up somehow bigger distance ? many thanks for adviceJM
  3. Hello,I am just starting with 'painting'. As a start I wanted to correct minor part of existing .bmp file.I use adobe photoshop, made a small correction and wanted to save the file. It automatically saves that as .psd file. If I change the setting and try to save it as .bmp it seems to be incompatible with FS9 as the aircraft either does not work at all or has strage stripes and colour at the part which I changed.Any idea if I am doing something completely wrong or if I should save the adjusted file in some specific set-up format ?any recommendation will be very appreciated !many thanksJM
  4. Dietmar, thanks, I see. My point is if I can open a fixed window via gauge with certain parameters as another external view on screen with main view. (Normally I am able to configure fixed windows but it is either fixed window with view (e.g. right or rear e.t.c.) or main. Not both together.regards !JM
  5. Hello Dietmar,is this FSVIEW macro working also in FS9, so I can use exactly the same xml for FS9 as well ?many thanksregardsJM
  6. Hello, does anybody know if it is possible to easy set-up where the additional external window view (switched on by ctrl+Q in FS9) appears and with which parameters ? (I mean where, size, if it is over panels, e.t.c.). Normally, with switch on (ctrl+q) it appears in the left up corner, another one right over it and so on, on its standard size. I guess it can be somewhere in .cfg file...?The reason why I ask is to possible use it as camera view to outside in modern planes screens (777, 340,...) as help for crews ..many thanksJM
  7. Hi, many thanks. Looks it would have some solution !You say it is a gauge, so it is XML programe ?JM
  8. OK, I see. Many thanksAny trick how to add a .bmp file through which to use self-defined camera view ?regards !JM
  9. Question for some more experienced panel developers in FSX.is there any possibility in FSX to create window views like in FS2004 (via fixed windows through/with some .bmp file like frame of cabin window e.t.c.) ? It looks it is not anymore...??Also the same using standard views (not camera views) forward, right, left, rear... but with own .bmp files to simulate cabin side, front e.t.c. window.Of course I am talking about 2D panels.many thanks for any help or adviceregardsJM
  10. OK, I see. but is there any obvious and way how to improve ?JM
  11. Dear all,I know that it will be very simplified question and many other forums and topics, researches e.t.c are related to that in big detail. However, I need to start somewhere, maybe some experienced guys can help me.I have relatively good notebook - Acer Aspire 8940G (4CPU)4GB RAMNVIDIA GEFORECE GT240M 1024MSo technically I think quite good.Regarding frame rates no big problems, only on Heathrow2000 airport with many AI traffic in some views it is getting very low FRS 3-4 only, (whilst in the same airport and time if I make a view aside, it gets immediately back to cca 20 FRS)If I check performance monitor of computer, CPU usage is on level cca 20%, RAM usage on cca 50%. Disk after a while gets very low also.Even if I am not moving my plane, FRS stays constant on 3-4, max. FRS. What is the problem ? Where to start ?With CPU, RAM, graphic card ? Where to move further ? Is it somehow a limitation of FS2004 ?Any experience or recommendation would help !many thanks !JM

Hello,I tried that, but I have a problem that after that merge, autothrottle does not work (simply did not affected by autopilot). It works with PSS model, but once I merge with 777 posky, it is not active.Any experience with that ?many thanksJM

Terry, any new country in the list (germany, holland,...) ? many thanksJM
  14. One last thing I hav in my mind, do you have anti-ice (pitot) switched on ? FS9 simulates sometimes freezing it in altitude higher than 20000 and then it has this behaviour (max. throttle, 0 airspeed in gauges)...
  15. do you have installed SP2 and SP3 for iFLY ?JM
  16. Hi, what do you mean, that even if you did not use SIDs (without indicated speed and altitude) the autopilot using VNAV of FMC is loosing speed ?JM
  17. not sure if not using LNAV but only VNAV could not be also the reason, normally should not. Try to look at these legs in SIDs.Anyway, any experience with POSKY model with ifly ? you do not have quick wawing during turns ?regards JM
  18. Hi, try to look to FMC on legs, sometimes when you use SIDs the initial legs have not assigned speed and altitude (in right part of the screen), then throttle goes to min.JM
  19. Dear technical experts, I am using computer withIntel Core Due T7700 processors. I am still not very happy with performance in mainly more complicated sceneries. Is there anything I can set-up in computer regarding full utilisation of both processors and 4GB Ram.I am flying FS9any help will be appreciatedmany thanksJM

Yes, the pitty is that Posky model is really nice and detailed so this combination would be great.I will try to play little bit with parameters in aircraft.cfg, but it looks the performance of this combination is not ideal.regardsJM

Hi Navymanyes, I used the merge recommendation from Posky also. However, but performance is not good. Could you try for me in your set-up the fly where you are somewhere above 20000ft. You set-up descent (cca 2500 ft per s) and normal speed around 280-300 and turn. In the second phase of turning the plane sort of shaking and if you view wing you see ailerons very quickly shaking up and down.If this work well with you I will try to re-install again and will seemany thanksregards !JM

Navyman, regarding FMC, I usually insert only GW and ZFW is automatically calculated based on payload and fuel inserted.Regarding units, I believe it can be set-up in initial FMC set-up screen (unit used U.S. or European), but not sure now, I need to check.I have also one question for you, you mentioned you use the POSKY 744 model, is the flight performance OK ? (especially during turns it is waving in my set-up). Have you done any change in aircraft.cfg ?many thanksregardsJM
