Just casually using FSX today when randomly my hardware controllers and the games camera stopped working.
I use the Saitek pro-flight yoke, pedals and quadrant and all the lights are on and plugs connected. The games camera will also not respond when spacebar is pushed and mouse is moved to zoom in/out and move the view. The keyboard and mouse pointer work and the game is active. Ive restarted the sim, restarted the PC and shutdown the PC for several hours and it still wont work. I even tried un-plugging and re-plugging the USB plugs of the controllers.
I'm having surgery tomorrow, so eager to get this solved quickly tonight so I can just relax and use it over the next week as I recover. Anyone seen this before or have any ideas on how it could be solved.

Look's good. Surely it cant be much longer!
Nice to see it at my home airport too

The last week I have become interested in SST's after reading this article http://blogs.crikey.com.au/planetalking/2013/06/16/the-day-the-red-star-fell-to-earth-at-le-bourget/
The obvious choice to satisfy such an interest is the fantastic FSLabs ConcordeX which I bought straight away and have become addicted to. However as soviet era aircraft hold great attention to me, I went on a search for a TU-144. Commonly labeled Concordski by those in the west.
To my Joy I found what looks like a decent one for free here http://www.avsimrus.com/f/fsx-aircrafts-79/tu-144d-v3-5-44272.html It has deep systems modelling and graphically is fantastic for a freeware. It even includes a VC.
The aircraft, Installer and Docs are all in Russian so it's going to take lots of effort to get it going but it's a challenge I would like to have a go at.
However I have run into a problem. When I load into the aircraft the views wont stay still and pivot until they are looking at the roof of the VC or a top down view in external model. This is something I have never experienced before and seems to be caused by this aircraft as all my other's are fine. If anyone want's to try this out it looks like it could be a rewarding sim, And maybe as a group we can come to a conclusion on how to solve the view issues. May be something specific to my system.

Great Pictures. Looks like an enjoyable flight.

Such a graceful takeoff. Can't wait to see this plane flying in service.
Just showed some beautiful footage from the chase plane of the gear retraction.

There exist two options that I am aware of.
One is freeware and is just the external model.
http://pages.videotron.com/camsim/ags350.htm
One is Payware and has a VC. IMO it is not up to payware standards, especially on the external model, which looks nothing like the real thing.

I have set the irs, and I wait for the align light to go out, but it doesn't change anything. The map display does not show my flight route. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
How long are you waiting for them to align?

Looks Stunning!

Looks like you do need to get approval. Look at the screenshot on the link.
Looks good otherwise.

Thanks! I wonder how often are the charts updated..
I'm not sure, But all the ones I looked at have been dated within 2 years. Most within 6 months.

Great work. Looks so beautiful, Inside and out!

I'm one of those that thought the quality was not there. It looked very 2005/2006 ish.
Reading the linked thread it seems another developer knowen for higher quality is working on an Adelaide. Will be interesting to see what happens. Along with Perth and Sydney, it is the few major Australian airports to need some scenery.

Hey everyone.
I came across a great resource for finding aerodrome charts today while planning a flight.
Seems complete for Europe, Australia and the US. It didn't seem to have Canadian charts though, and I have yet to do a search for other continents.
I know I will be a frequent visitor, and just had to share it with you all.

That's very difficult to control lol. You have to watch the tailstrike and flap overspeed risks really carefully, you'll shoot through your V2 and the flap speeds almost before you leave the ground. 40+ degree deck angle to stop it from accelerating etc.
Someone gave it a go. B)

Interesting. This is the most fps friendly aircraft in my hanger.

Auto Mixture on in the realism settings maybe?

Looks like Emirates was the last livery or the one of the last we will see. They are the largest carrier of the 777 so it would make sense to finish with them all Im saying is that things are beginning to heat up
Hmm the release announcement this week maybe? :Praying:

You need the terrain scenery for the airports to work. As a local, It is a massive improvement in the continent and actually makes it possible to fly over. Recommended!

I would also love a Saab 340. Then I can fly the REX regional flights in Australia. Currently I am using the J41 though, which is a decent stand in.

Based on post's from Ryan and Robert I get the feeling they will model the 200er. Been selfish I wish they will model the non ER 300. Why? Because I had the most comfortable flight ever on one last year.

The BA 737 was only half fictional anyway. BA did operate a few leased 800's a few years ago.

there's something wrong here. Every time I come back to this thread some more replies are missing.

I have a dev machine. Maybe I'll give it a shot with default fsx autogen on bluesky scenery.
Can you make a thread to show off the results? I am interested in seeing how it looks.

Hello Andrew
Is it saying "Microsoft Flight Simulator has run out of available memory"?
Also it will be a big help if you list your computer specs and what graphics settings you are using.
737 flight declares emergency after fog diversion

I think they get away with it because it is an emergency situation. I believe Australian regs allow for no alternate to be carried if the weather forecast looks good. Which is scary because weather is not the only reason an aircraft can't land at an airport.
Most if not all Australian airports are privatized and with the government not providing any funding the airport operators probably feel they wont achieve an acceptable Return on Investment to have the capability's. The one airport in the country that should have CATIII capability is Perth due to the remoteness of the city.
