I am not a pro with FSUIPC but I do remember there being a selection for unlimited battery. Is that checked? The TR light is the Transformer Rectifier Unit. If it illuminates on the ground ANY one of the the 3 TRU's have failed. If it is in flight, either number 1 has failed OR Number 2 AND 3 have failed together.Jack C

Hey Merdan. Just out of curiosity what were your climb and cruise performance stats that you thought were unrealistic. Can I get the numbers?Jack C -
PMDG 737 NGX: PMDG's attitude toward realism

So you think it would be better for business to release it if it weren't done? I don't think your thoughts are going to persuade PMDG to release it until its ready. I agree with Webmaximus that it is POINTLESS. Jack C -

If you are referring to the 6 pack I was referring to earlier I didn't mean the PFD ND display. The 6 pack is the annunciator lights on the pilot side and FO's side that alerts the crew to a system failure. Each one has 6 failure indications hence the "6 pack".Jack C -

Yes the panel on the NG is nice. It would have been nice to have an EICAS system though. The 6-pack advisory sucks though. There dual tiller is an option for the real aircraft.Jack C -
PMDG 737 NGX: PMDG's attitude toward realism
Jack_C replied to rsrandazzo's topic in PMDG General Forum
So the story goes.....Southwest knew they were going to keep their 300's and 500's for quite a while. So when the NG was being developed they wanted the cockpits to look the same so their pilots can jump from one plane into another without too much confusion. Therefore boeing made the NG look like the older models. Heck the NG still look a lot like the 200's. So yes Southwest does have a strike against them! Tell you the truth I would just be happier with a bigger cockpit!Jack C -

If it wasn't for Southwest the cockpit would look more like a 777.Jack C -
lol. No problem Joseph. But as for the turbo prop I still don't think there is a huge selection to choose from. Not saying that they shouldn't be done, just not as much to choose from compared to the jet market.Jack C

Sorry Dylan. On the first sentence i meant real world commercially. There really isn't much out there in the airline world for turboprops.Jack C For every one you can name i can probably name 10 that use them.jack C

The turboprop is not a vast market commercially speaking. Heck there really is only the Dash8, ATR, and some SAABs here and there. Lots of GA stuff but I think from a sales point of view you are limiting your sales with GA aircraft. I think the Dash8 will sell very well. Its a great aircraft. Sure it would be nice to see the 400 instead but i can see where PMDG is coming from since their access to a 400Q is probably much more limited. The 300 is a nice 270-280 kt aircraft which will satisfy a lot of FSers. Besides show me a VA that doesn't use a Dash8 at some level. Looking forward to it. A nice RJ sure would be nice though although not a prop.Jack C

I don't know about you guys but I like the lettuce being on the console. I can't tell you how many times I am sitting there in the cockpit and make myself a sandwich. I take out the bread, some mustard, place some delicious turkey breast on there and then only to reach in my lunch bag to realize I forgot the lettuce. Lo and behold I see some lettuce sitting in the console and now my sandwich is complete. mmmmmm mmmmmmm. Ok thats just flippin disgusting. I don't really do that. Jack C -

In the instructrions it says "That done, place the files of improvements (and Aircraft.cfg emb175lr.air) file in the folder E175LR.zip Aerone Feelthere PIC E175.". Where is the E175LR.zip Aerone Feelthere PIC E175 file? Thanks!

None of you complainers get it. Once upon a time developers said when the approximate release date was. When they didn't deliver you came down their throats and forced them into never saying anything about release dates. Now the next thing you do is complain about waiting. My forecast? Developers will not even tell you they are developing a product UNTIL the day of release. Honestly, it sounds like you sit there my your computer clicking "refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh".Geez, go out and enjoy the things in life. Sitting by a computer and complaining 24/7 makes you look like you have no life whatsoever. PMDG wants to get this thing out as quickly as soon as they can to you BUT not at the expense of bugs (which will create a whole new set of complaints). I respect what they do and how they do it. If you can do better by all means try. There is more to life than "refresh". I took up drumming, paintballing, play hockey in the winter, etc. I have so many things I try and do that before I know it the 737 will be released. I suggest you try it too. I try to make this post in respect to all. I too am waiting for this release and know where you are coming from. But after spending over 3-4000 bucks on addons I know by now that when it DOES come out you will look back and all your frustrations of waiting will be forgotten. You know its true and so do I. Jack C -
Ouch lets not go that far. I can send you a list of bugs if you want them!

I wouldn't get too hung up on color. In our newer deliveries, the majenta color is a different tone than our older aircraft. So who knows what color Boeing has for newer deliveries!Jack C -
Heck i didn't say I had any problem with the airline. My problem is with the CEO and what he would do IF he could. Jack C

I think it was mentioned that it will not be simulated. I agree with their decision on this one since a weather radar really can't be simulated in FS. So why spend your time on something useless?Jack C
