Hey Everyone.I recently installed GEX for FSX. I've been flying around and looking at the scenery. I wonder if I am doing something wrong... My color's don't look quite as deep and vibrant as they do in the screen shots on the GEX website... Any suggestions?Currently in the sim I have everything maxed out as you can see in the images below along with my nvidia settings. I have also included a shot of my FSX in the Fex Ex plane and a shot of the GEX site screen shot... its not the same area, but its similar I think.Anyway, are there any suggestions as to how to give my colors a bit more depth? My screen seems a bit washed out.... Thanks!

Yea, it has a few different texture options you can use for it as well, most are eastern block military, the Fed Ex version was a separate download for the textures. :) Fly's great!

The AN-32 is my new favorite aircraft. :) Does anyone know of a solid cockpit available for it? Thanks!

Yea, not getting it. I won't buy any plane they make and can't take the time to put a cockpit in. The game/sim, whatever they are calling it is lacking enough as it is.

There is no cockpit guys. Also as of 2pm CST the plane wasnt available. Ill be giving up in Flight for various reasons, this "plane" being one of then until they get thier act together....This isnt the "game", "sim" whatever we were looking for. I mean really... Another plabe with no interior? Completeky marketed for the console.

Well you can't even get the plane if you wanted it as promised. It isn't in the website marketplace nor in the hangar in game. I have to agree tho, bone head move...

Hello Everyone. :)I've been looking into my profile and searching the forums here for a tip on how to start my own screen shot gallery, but I can't seem to find anything that tells you how to start one. The only thing I've been able to find is something which states something along the lines of, if you are eligible to have a gallery go to ... blah blah blah.... How do you get eligigible, or... am I missing something, which, is quite possible. :(

... It has gotten me back into FSX with a vengence. I havne't flown on my computer in years, literally. I tried flight and for now, for some reason, I am head first back into FSX and loving it. Odd how that works....

Yea, the installer mentions something about that. :) About having to un-install then re-install GEX... But the installer does it all or something. :(

Ok, then I am on the right track now with GEX, UTX and REX... I should be fine. :) I am doing the GEX now... Thanks all for the input and thoughts. :PRandy

Ya know, the more I think about it, I think I mean to get GEX...along with REX.... There is so much stuff out there I am getting confused... :( So, to help clairify, what does UT provide that GEX does not then? Thanks a lot for the input thus far.

Hey Everyone...I am upgrading today to the FTX Orbx. I see there are quite a few... I'm looking at the NA Blue USA/Canada and PNW one... Does that cover ALL of the US and Canada and more of the PNW? Or should I be looking at something else?I'm looking to get as much of North America as I can for the least amount. Or do I have to buy them all separate starting with the PNW? I am also looking at getting REX 2.0 after words... I currently use FSGenesis mesh... So... Between those three I should be all set? Or should I be looking at other stuff as well for the ''look'' of the game? From what I understand and have read, most folks use the Orbx, Rex and a Mesh of some sort... I think I am on the right track.Thanks for ANY input! :)Randy

Oh good grief guys.... That's a lot to take in. :) Looking at some of these add on's for scenery ect, how do they impact FS in terms of FR? I run rather good in the 30's with things just about maxed out in the base sim. Will I be looking at a performance hit, if so, is it large? Just curious. Anyway, thanks a lot for the info and heads up on the products. I'll be looking into some of them very soon. :)

Ok... I was just watching this...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOnXE5rFoTIWhich, is supposed to be using UTX, GEX and REX... If this is the case, I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT! Holy!! I'm thinking that is all I would need with maybe Flight Environment added in as a final option? That looks spectacular. Combined with FSGenesis Terrain mesh and land class I think I'd be done. :)
