Being one the 6, you would call it sad and nonsense wouldn't you. Show me one instance where you helped someone. Also please note i'm referring to the NGX forum, all other PMDG support forums have definitely helped thousands of users. But here, all we do is talk about our non expert opinions, "i think this, i think that..." Everyone has their own solution to the same problem which confuses people seeking help. To those who want real support, use the support ticket system.

This forum is like the same 6 people saying the same things over and over again with the occasional newbie post, and something useful every 1000 posts. I definitely wouldn't come here for help (maybe just to rant), I would much rather RTFM or open a support ticket.

Totally agree. IMHO, if it had to do with FSX or the add-ons they would also freeze and the sim would eventually crash. I flew for about 30 minutes today while forzen at cruise until I realized I was headed in the wrong direction and the ND and any other displays were not moving. FSInn was still running, REX weather was still updating, and plane kept flying. Only the panel and surfaces froze, which makes it a prob with the aircraft. Don't count on a miracle with the hot fix

Same freeze as everyone else. FS runs fine, a/c continues to move, all NGX controls and systems are locked up though. Has happened to me 3 times so far with hot fix 3. Much more than before.

Start>Programs>PMDG>NGX>LiveryManager

You need to use the PMDG livery manager... Double clicking will not work.

Is it just me, or would it be extremely amazing to have a module for the dreaded wilco airbuses?I tried to do it myself, but I blew at it...Regards, Majid

Since my first two attempts yesterday, I have now conducted two complete flights WITHOUT any freeze... That's a 50% success rate so far... Regardless, this is the greatest add-on imaginable! I hope the team can sort this out soon, more and more pilot's seem to be experiencing the freeze.

Hey Bill thanks. I always start in VC you know that plus the .ini was allowed to rebuild from the get go...

I didn't fiddle with them at all, so the default pages I assume. However, after the freeze, I shuffled through some of the FS options and PMDG options on CDU1, but some of the selection keys seemed to bring up blank pages on the CDU.

None, VFR, KDEN-KDEN was my plan. Also, it's a permanent freeze, FSX keeps running, just not the items listed above. It's not a 5-10 second thing...

Thank you so much guys for such a stellar product. I actually teared as I brought the systems to life at the gate. All was going fine at the gate, great performance (fps, etc) using all internal and external views all the way through startup, and the beginning of taxi. However, as stated above, all of a sudden around 5-10 minutes after loading the flight (during taxi to the RWY in both instances), everything on the plane freezes: all the controls as well as my throttle quadrant. Flaps don't work, ailerons and rudders don't work, and the PFD, NAV display, auto pilot console, are all not responsive. I have tried it twice, and it happened twice. Assuming not, I tried following the manual and adding it myself. However, the manual seems incomplete. For example, in trying to set the EFIS range, what do i do after I see the item in Lvar monitoring? The manual kind of just stops after finding the Duke Cowl Flaps item. Ok, so I found the item, now what? How do I assign it?Thanks in advance.

We should start an A/T post...

First of all we are talking about commercial jets with advanced A/T systems here, such as umm, the 737NG, not turboprops. Also, we are talking about A/C with Autothrottle, obviously planes without A/T would not have to be engaged!?!Why dangerous? A/T is much more efficient at avoiding a stall, especially with gusting winds, wind shear, sudden altitude corrections, etc. Not to mention the increased workload. That's what the A/T is there for...

So you're saying that if you disconnect the A/P on final approach, you are required do disconnect the A/T? Sounds unlikely and a bit dangerous to say the least.

I'm afraid you're confusing A/T with A/P. If not, please list some of those circumstances as I am curious...
