Thanks guys for your advice, I have ordered another monitor so I will have a total of 3, and im going to change the hard drive to a 6gb bandwith, Western Digital Black 1T. Probably a silly question, but Ive never used 3 monitors before, is it possable to use all the monitors to expand the cockpit across all 3, but once airborne change the configeration so I can use one of the montiors to do other things or run other programs (surf the net, watch movies, track my flight etc ) Thanks again for your advice. After much deliberation this is the system that Ive decided to have built, but before I make the final order I would be interested in what you guys think of the system to run fsx, is there anything you would change to increase the performace. Also Im not sure what RAM does, is the RAM ive selected adequate for this system. thanks in advance for your comments. thanks VH_JLC, I have been looking at PLE, im either going to go with them or GR-TEK both companys seem pretty good. Thankyou all very much for taking the effort to reply, TechGuyC where did you get that system made up, and would that also be suitable to do some video editing on. I cant seem to find a pc builder in Australia with those same parts. could you please provided me with the details of your pc so I can give it to a PC shop to look at building a system close to yours. Like I said my knowledge in computers is limited so I have to go on advice from others and your happy with the performace of your system. also if you rebuilt a pc today would you use those same parts or would you change or upgrade any parts. I have limited knowledge on computer parts and upgrades, but have been doing alot of research there is such a varity of opinion's on what is the best system for not only fsx but also a day to day pc that will last for several years before needing to be updated again. I haven't ordered the system yet but would like your comments about the system below, this system is going to cost around $4700 I just want somthing that will be trouble free and be able to run smooth and fast (like we all want really) Im sick of my current system pausing going blurry and having poor FPS. this is my proposed system, can you see any problems with any of the parts ? can you see anything that may cause a botttleneck and do you think this system will run FSX at max settings, or anthing good or bad you can see. I bought the captains package and was expecting more to be released by now, I have been patient but it is getting very thin, Im sure the training will eventually be released but I want it now.What I'm really waiting for is the tutorial on how to getting everything up and going from cold and dark.

Here is my two cents worth. I use Ultimate Traffic 2 (which is great) I found just by moving the traffic slider to around 20% my FPS was greatly increased and runs alot smoother. Savo

I would be interested in what people belive are good sound settings to get the most from the new plane within FSX Ive got most of mine set at around 50 for each but I dont belive this would be correct, Engines, Cockpit & Environment.

Well ive been watching it for awhile now, its 10pm here so im off to bed hope to wake up and see the long awaited most advanced flighsim aircraft to date, im sure I wont be disapointed in the morning.

you no this is half the fun, reading all the threads / comments people put up, to me it just adds to the excitment of the release. if its not released today it may be tomorrow and the excitment of the pending release will go on for another day.
