Unfortunately it will not happen today, WHY? well Robert did say they would give us some prewarning prior to release and not for us to go missing out on sleep in anticipation, there would be 12 or 24 hours warning prior unless they have some last minute problems, which they obviously need to fix. So go to work or bed whatever it may be in your part of the world and be patient........yes the PMDG team are about and working hard but this production will not take place today. We may have a release prewarn later today.

Ever heard of the term "Timezone" ?

It's 5:30 AM in Nevada right now. There is still a chance that we get our advance notice around noon and the release around evening. We'll see.

Heron1B, they did not say how much of a warning they would give! Could be 10 minutes before for all we know! RSR has already been on the forum this morning and has not mentioned any delay. Just sit tight and wait for the official word before you jump to any more conclusions!

This is for clarification rsr has never said how long in advance he would be giving the notice, it is possible that a thread will appear saying "Releasing in 30 seconds!" - It's possible, but pretty unlikely.

I mean he also said he'd let us know if the date got changed, so that knife cuts both ways.

It won't be today is a statement suggesting you know something, but you don't so here is another pointless thread. you no this is half the fun, reading all the threads / comments people put up, to me it just adds to the excitment of the release. if its not released today it may be tomorrow and the excitment of the pending release will go on for another day.

Note how Robert wrote that he'd be giving a "bit of notice" under the "release day" header - none of this 12/24 hrs beforehand business that people are talking about. Give them time to get out of bed :D It's RSR's birthday after all... Ryan said Pete is still finishing up on some paints as well, so to me that sounds like they'll be releasing it after their lunchtime. But it definitely looks like it's going to be released today...

With a couple of hundred people glued to their computers for the last 48hours, I'm sure they would have told us by now if it was going sour. They are trying to make this release exciting which it damn well is. No one likes a Negative Nancy...
