  1. I'm just worried about telling her the price...
  2. Air NZ All Black (at least for the 300ER)
  3. Hey, Just letting the PMDG team know that the hot fix has successfully removed all "freeze" symptoms from my NGX. Thanks for this timely update, really is great! On a side note I am still experiencing failure of the exterior (and REX2.0) textures. This failure only begins once above 10'000ft and then remains for the rest of the flight (except in all replays, in which the textures are complete). I have HIMEMFIX=1 in my fsx.cfg, really have no idea how to fix this problem. If anyone could help out that would be brilliant. Regards,
  4. Ok, so I moved my fsx.cfg out of the folder so FSX could create a new one. I am now seeing black backgrounds for 2d panels, and black squares behind all autogen and white squares for clouds. The aircraft themselves are heavily distorted. Does anyone have any idea as to what this could be?Thanks,
  5. Hey, I believe this has been covered previously, I have ran a few searches with no luck. I have now got only white (and heavily distorted) textures on the main FSX menu for all aircraft.Has anyone found a fix for this? Thanks,Regards,
  6. Sorry guys, there is a reason that it takes years of hard work, determination, study and ability to get anywhere near the right seat, let alone the left one, on any airliner. There is a whole lot more that goes on behind the scenes of any flight (and any aircraft) than A to B. This sim's use for real world training is limited to those with flight experience practicing checks, procedures and IFR. A C152 would be far beyond the ability of a zero flight time simmer. In saying that, it provides a good level of basic knowledge to someone who is about to embark on a career in aviation. If your interested, take the plunge. You will never look back.
  7. I have replicated the error In terms of the freeze several times now. It is definitely the CDU for me, albeit I found if I save the flight as default I don't get it any more?. No idea on the exterior textures. I have tried with all weather and time of day scenarios.
  8. I have found the problem (functionality lock up) occurs when switching back to the CDU 'legs' page after setting DEP ARR SID/STAR information. Exterior textures disappearing permanently from a point in time during random stages of flight (or on the ground) prior to top of climb. I have also found that if using 2d cockpit the exterior textures are completely gone except for the tail and engines. If using the VC exterior textures are completely gone including the engines except for the middle section of the fuselage and the wings.
  9. Ok I also found that if you load the default 738 then switch to the NGX within the sim, it works fine???
  10. Let us know if that fixed it, mine came right then has gone back.
  11. Yea and no answer yet? Its fairly strange, yea already run as admit, reinstall, fsx.cfg re-config, fcuipc autosave off etc....
  12. Hey I've got the same problem. Losing complete functionality of the cockpit. CDU slightly works but no scratch pad and has no effect on anything. All other switches move but do nothing. If I turn APU to start it freezes there and no APU start up occurs..I was flying NZWN-NZAA and the issue resolved itself but is now back to stay so it seems
  13. Oops mines not working again. Same as before except now at least the textures are fine..
  14. No worries guys, Uninstalled NGX (removed liveries as well), ran a defrag, reboot, went through fsx.cfg making sure I had the 'HIMEMFIX = 1', ensured FSX was being run as admin, disabled anti-virus from scanning fsx root directory, disabled auto-save on fcuipc, re-install NGX, re-install liveries, reboot. Pretty much the standard advice worked a treat. Thanks guys,Kind regards,
  15. Wow, I've just finished ironing out the minor bugs with my system and completed my first flight. I'm rather speechless. Absolutely amazing! For all of you who are worried about frames, I wouldn't be. I have an old school system below the min specs and I'm running her at a steady 20fps with REX 2.0 and high settings (incl. light bloom). So amazing. No other sim will ever be the same.Regards,
  16. Fixed! First flight complete and what a joy she is to fly! VNAV/LNAV are amazing. So smooth. Actual handling is beautiful. Thanks everyone on the team at PMDG. You've all been brilliant. Cheers,Kind regards,
  17. NZWN, default airport, REX 2.0, Windows 7 32bit, dual core AMD Turion 2.1GHz, Radeon HD 3650.Old school but runs the all other payware (including NGX so far) at around 25FPS
  18. I have no idea what I did but I fixed the cockpit issue.I now am stuck with the exterior textures disappearing leaving only the skeleton, I have updated my FSX.cfg with no luck. REX 2.0 water textures are flashing black as well. I am very sorry for all the trouble but any help would be amazing. Thanks for the amazing product. Although not working 100 percent yet, it is absolutely mind blowing. Thanks guys,Regards,
  19. *bump* (Sorry guys )
  20. I'm experiencing problems with VC/2D freeze. Everything still is movable and I can manipulate all controls but nothing works. Switches work but do nothing. Not getting any CTD or warnings but I have the tail greying out as well. Tried a reinstall with no luck. Any ideas?
