Boeing and Airbus
Why is it automatically assumed Boeing would pull the plug on further PMDG developments just because they may create an Airbus product? It would make no business sense at all.

Mirrored panels/gauges
Hi, I've been having this issue with the NGX and other a/c on and off for a long time now. Basically when I call up a panel it appears to be mirrored are blurry if you like. It also happens to the main ND, PFD, EICAS and CDU from time to time. Please see screenshot Anyone know whats the problem? Thanks Ben

You make it sound like it will be difficult to draw a 200ER livery on a 200LR. They are exactly the same apart from raked wings, wingspan, and different engine variants.

Probably a short haul from Cardiff (BA's 777 maintenance facility) to Heathrow, followed by a long haul to either Dubai or JFK.

will PMDG 777 has a electronic flight bag?
I have news that this iEFB will make it onto the App store sometime in the future! I'm not sure on the specific details of the app and whether it works from FSX or through any other software, but it sure does look good!

SB4 Issue
One way of solvin the issue is to run Squawkbox from Windows, rather than running it from the add on menus in FSX. Yes it doesnt fit the screen as 'neatly' but it stops all the errors. Ben

Hey Guys it is not going to be today
It won't be today is a statement suggesting you know something, but you don't so here is another pointless thread. (Note: This will not be a surprise release... We will let you know it is coming!) Please can somebody define 'a bit'?It could mean anything from 30mins to 30days couldn't it. Countdown T-MINUS for NGX :)
Well Robert normally posts on this website late at night in his time zone (early-mid morning here in the UK), so for all we know he might do the same tonight, and it could be ready for release start of business the following day, probably in his time zone. Heres hoping its ready for download tomorrow eveing (GMT), Ill have my new system up and running by then!

Killing waitin' time : which plane do you prefer after 737 NGX ?
From the amount of money PMDG will likely make from the NGX, why not get a few extra developers in and push for a few different products!!!As the above will probably not occur, I vote for the A380, with the 787 a close second!I don't see the point in a 777, as someone else said, it will take a few years to create and by then everyone will be after the dreamliner!

Becoming an airline pilot.
As stated above its all about the money! If you can throw money at a flying school they will teach you how to fly even if you are missing a few limbs (this is true, I've seen it!)CTC wings and Oxford will cost you as much as a small terraced house, so unless you are going to work for 10 years in a high paid job or have rich parents, the best route is modular. I am currently studying for the JAA Atpl theory and I have my PPl and 150hours total time. Get your ATPL sorted Ross, then start the ATPL theory whilst building time upto 150hours! Then you need to do the CPL/ME, IR and MCC then you can apply for jobs! PM me for more info, I'd be happy to help!

Fuel flow
Hi, I did a flight the other day that was 822NM and I had headwinds of 86kts slowing me down to 430tas. Using the iFDG A320 the fuel flow was 770lbs/h at M.78 and FL320, yet FOB had dropped by 2000lbs in little over 20 minutes. How can this be, will there be an error in the cfg?Thanks! Ben

Help. Posky (fspro) 737-800 repaint
HiI am repainting a Posky 737-800. winglet no eyebrow modelfor some reason the inside of the apu exhaust is red. the tail is red so I guess its interfering. is this a common bug?how do I fix it? Is there a place on the texture file for apu exhaust?thanksBen Thomson

A little Heads-Up on the NGX...
Just having a look at the glossy manuals! Ill be cynical and say it... it seems like a lot of time went into them, time that could have gone into the software! Anyway, keep up the good work guys. Can't wait for this bird, its been a long time!
